I dont know if its been posted or nto yet, but what do you guys think of this pic? I think its after he won the gold in superpipe xgames. It looks like simon and Pete feel a bit awkward haha. but what do you think? cocky? funny? good time to do it? immature? what.

Dude, people need to chill about Tanner. There are too many Tanner hate threads. He is actually a really nice guy! Grow up and stop hating on people. Were suppost to be a ski community not a hate community.

i'd agree with you if this was his first win or something, but the fact that he's celebrating something that has happened multiple times is a little obnoxious.
 
Dude, it's X I would be pumped EVERY SINGLE time i won it, even if it was my 200th time. It's like the Olympics for pipe (being that ski pipe is not in it). I would do the same thing. He's what 24? He is HUGE in the ski world, let the kid have fun and enjoy it while it's there. I bet I would do some thing like that also, you really dont know unless you are there, you get all caught up in the moment!
 
how do you know that he is not doing something completely different and the camera just caught him at the wrong time. You guys are making a big deal out of nothing. Unless someone posts a vid and he is doing what you all think and making monkey nosises while he strokes his ski I think nothing of this photo.
 
you can definitely tell, he has his o-face on. and nobody is really hating on tanner, just the thread maker (thats the impression i got) and some randoms. this is generally a love tanner thread which is nice to see.
 
Id rather win gold and be immature than get second and be sponsored by target...

Geez you guys its fucking skiing for cryin' out loud. Its not like we are putting an end to world hunger or anything. Most adults ski because its fun and playful (immature).
 
I'm not Tanner's biggest fan, but I don't think we really need to make a big deal out of this. Photos get taken at bad times, and even if he had a ski dick you're still blowing it out of proportion by judging him for it. I do it all the time, am I immature? Well....maybe that's the wrong way to put it, but skiing's not all about business. If you're all worked up about the outside perspective of skiing due to one obscure photo, then you really need to get your priorities straight. It's not the end of the world, no sane people care, and everybody has the right to have a ski boner--especially on a podium. End.
 
ski humping is so hot right now. seriously though, after winning last years X after watching the runs that were thrown down that night that was a huge win.
 
skiing is fun and for those who want to hate should start rockin some tight black pants, half-zipped ski jacket that exposes their turtleneck they have on underneath, with a head band and ray-ban wire frames to complete the whole ensemble
