so i heard that the bird got searched by the feds, and they are coming to brighton yet heard from the up highs at brighton, so take it easy for a few days at your resorts.
 
yea i was just coming back to explain myself a little better.

but i guess they are coming up with dogs and all that going threw everything employee locker rooms and what not, i dont know if they are going to go to any other resorts.
 
well you have to understand that big cottonwood is the meca for all meth, cocaine, and weed smuggling so they really need to do this yo know.
 
I heard this same thing from a buddy who works up at B-town and then I heard from someone there may be a road block in BCC. Basically, leave the green at home this weekend.
 
Legally, any sort of road block has to be announced in the local news 24 hours within advance of it happening. If this doesn't happen then they have no foundation for arrest.
Your best bet is to just go enjoy skiing sober and come rage with us tomorrow night! Blackout blacklight party whewww.

yea so they had some dogs walking around the parking lot today, and our lockers up here are going to get searched at some random time.
 
yeah this is bullshit, i remember not too long ago the dea was up at alta doing some raids on some lodges up there, scary shit be careful guys and gals.
 
How about this, enjoy skiing for skiing! Smoking is gay! honestly all drugs are gay! If you cant have fun skiing sober then why do it? Skiing is ten times better than any drug anyway!

Same kind of thing has been happening in Colorado for the past two seasons with cops posting up above Gondola's looking for smoked out rides.

Think they've gone as far as to ski up to huts too.....
 
really fitts? please explain to me...how is smoking gay?.at least back up your point..everyone does love skiing sober and some people just like to blaze while they ride...wouldn't expect such a close minded beligerintly ignorant comment from someone like yourself but i guess these are the types of things that reiterate certain opinions of mine
 
I really don't get the point to spend so much money on something so harmless. I can sort of, kind of, understand enforcement against narcotics, but weed? It's so damn harmless it's ridiculous. And the only reason to come up to a ski resort is for weed. No one does a bump of coke on the lift. Does someone who does that work go home and truly think they are helping the world be a better place? I really can't believe that.
 
So let me get this straight....Cops and feds don't have anything better to do besides set up road blocks and to search skiers for drugs?

I guess i need to explain my self a little more. Now Heff I know you love skiing, I mean few people ski as much as you do. so my comment doesnt apply to you. My problem has to deal with those kids that could really care less about the skiing, they just do it for the "lifestyle." those kids that really dont love it for what it is! Seriously I'm chill with everyone and if they want to roast a bowl thats fine by me, but if they are only there because thats a way for them to smoke/party I think thats gay. Im sure you know the kids I'm talking about heffy, I mean Shit you've skied PC before. I guess in conclusion all im trying to say is if you have to "Party and Bullshit" for skiing to be "fun" then well thats just gay!
 
So you mean to tell me that there are kids who ski just because it allows them to party and smoke more? I'm pretty sure if they were that into smoking and partying they would spend their money on weed on booze instead of a season pass and ski gear. Also I doubt there is anyone, certainly not anyone that I know, that smokes so that skiing can be fun for them. Anyone who skis rides because they like it. It just so happens that some people who ski also smoke and party and some of those same people smoke while skiing. I don't smoke or drink and I don't plan on doing either, but who cares if that's what someone else wants to do? It's their life, their choices and their opinion, not yours.
 
so who knows the real talk here? are they setting up roadblocks, searching cars or what? I only ever bring nugs up the canyon on my days off, but i dont wanna be caught in one of those off chances. any proof here?

like i said, i saw some rangers looking around the base of alta on saturday, but other than that I havent seen any sort of roadblock
 
Fitts, Im sorry to be calling you out on the internet, but why the fuck are you using gay as a derogative? Its insulting to some, and a pathetic excuse for lack of a better word. It goes without saying, come on.
Also, drug use while skiing is a lifestyle choice just as skiing is. If marijuana use is part of the package for some people, then so be it. Not everyone can just have fun skiing. Im not saying thats me, I can't smoke when I ski, but thats just how it is for some people.
And this is unnecessary and will be controversial, but in the grand scheme of things; Going skiing for the afternoon, or smoking weed for the afternoon, or both at the same time contribute about the same amount to personal growth, your future, and society. Skiing is fun to some, partying is fun to some, but they are both self indulgent activities and don't really help anyone else out. So whether your skiing for the social aspect or not doesn't really matter as long as you are having fun doing it.
 
so im pretty sure that this is over and it was blown up more than what actually happened. mostly just dogs in a the parking lot, cops in the trees, and more cops in the canyon.
 
I have nothing else to say on the issue, I think I stated my view point on the issue very well. Also Bill I think you said exactly the samething i did, If kids want to do that, then whatever, so be it but it is my right to think its "gay." And also Bill you are right useing the word gay shows a lack of intel on my part. That I do apologize for, however I do not apologize for my opinion on drug use and skiing.
 
Love Bill's last paragraph, we get so involved in the whole ski thing it's hard to remember that it's actually just a frivolous hobby we dedicate a huge amount of our time and energy to strictly for our own happiness. I also love run on sentences. Might as well be high and lovin life while you're at it.
 
yeah i really have no idea what you're talking about and have never seen a kid like this in my life...I think you've been spending too much time around brighton park and all those gypsy snowbaorders...I feel like you're trying to make these people up in your head..i don't know why? maybe to give yourself a sense of "betterness" than them for lack of a better term...open your mind up man whether you like drugs or not...it's a huge part of our sport if you want to believe it or not...watch like a lion..one of our biggest innovators.. at the begining of the season the cops just do it to scare everyone and then they might find some one just to make an example out of them. Trees are fair game as far as ski patrol is concerned as long as its not totally obvious
 
So instead of stopping real crime, the police are going up to resorts and searching people?great use of tax payer money.

Might have only been at Snowbird. Apparently, the cop was nagging some kid about where he could find some weed, and when the kid offered to share a joint with him the cop screwed him over. Even though all this ish might be over, be weary of weird dudes asking for weed on lifts i guess haha.
 
what a waste of resources. I hate cops a lot.

as for smoking marijuana and skiing, they've gone hand in hand since skiing was created practically.

that being said, smoking weed and skiing is so 1970. It's all about jenkem.
