keyless entry stopped working like 2 months ago.

i replaced the battery.

replaced all fuses that have anything to do with keyless

nothing works, any input?

also when it stopped working... i used the key to open the door as soon as i opend the door all the locks went down. but in a civic you cant lock the driver door when open so it just stopped. i shut the door and the lock slammed down and locked automatically. it only did this once and doesnt do that ever again.

was kinda weird but something go fucked up.

well I'm sure with the thousands of dollars you make you can afford to go to the dealership and have them reset the system.

My weiner is probably harder than yours.

well...I don't know what to tell you then, I mean, you can't fix it, and you won't bring it to a shop...so buy a new one I guess?

You drive a 7th gen?! I'm assuming since my 03 civic can't be locked with keyless unless the doors are shut. Check out www.7thgencivic.com TONNNNNS of helpful info. Make a thread about it and i'm sure people will help you out.

On my girl's subaru, this same thing happens when you disconnect the battery. You have to hold the lock button (on the remote) for a few seconds. This causes the remote to "reprogram" itself. It wouldn't surprise me if Honda is similar. Good luck!
