ladies, gentle men, and ladies me, I present to you what i believe rockered skis will help jibbing become. with this new technology, i am convinced that a whole new universe of rail tech is now do-able. this will bring skiing rails on to an equal playing field with snowboarding. OBSERVE!!!

sorry for the shittyness of my drawing but you get the idea.

SWITCH 5-O on skis!!!

that's not only already possible, but been done... by a lot of people in fact (although I agree, rockerd skis would make it far easier).

Peep Pollard's self edit on helly's site if you want proof.

^ no he did a true nosepress. in this trick its like sliding onto the box switch while doing a tail butter.

not to be a dick, but try he searchbar. i just cant explain it verywell. its a kind of reverse camber. you know how your skis bend up in the middle when you arent on them, well its like the opposite of that.

something tht'll be progression is tht metal piece u drill into the bottom of ur boot so u can do rollerblading grinds.

ive been trying them. as long as you can power yur skis and keep then flat and facing forward, you can lock in good. i learned on rainbow boxes, tis easy there. and on fd boxes.

yeah but look at a ski while it is pressing. It is bow shaped, much like a rockered ski. With a rockered ski, there will be less resistance. If anything I imagine it would be harder to slide off with presses on rockered skis. If not, you could always compensate and just lean in a lil more though.

no, because if its rockered, you wouldn't have any resistence, or flex; it is already flexed for you. All you have to do is lean over it.

then dont put your weight on the tips, is what Im saying. it would make it easier because you wouldnt have to lean so far in.

wtf!?! that's sick. how many times did he fall forward and eat shit learning it though? and how far did he manage to carry that forward lean down the box?
