Yeah, Candide is the man. This jump is huge, I hope i can see the comp. Even though this is a ski website this seems like it will be worthy of putting video from the comp on the page
 
No way they will get 240feet of distance that is almost impossible, you would need so much speed you'd either have to do a step-down like Mads last year or wear a downhill suit.

Olympic ski jumping is around 110m I think? 330 feet distance.
 
How on earth are they gunna get the speed for that? Has anyone seen Travis Rice in pop hitting chads gap... hes going all out on the in run and he looks so sketchy and thats what like 120 feet? how are they going to get enough speed for a jump twice that big?
 
uh im pretty sure its just a few snowboarders who want to film and session a massive jump, not some stupid rivalry shit.
 
aha so euro, but where the hell did you people get numbers like 240 feet?

its basically gonna be like the jon invitational jump, def not 240 feet , its not even a big gap its just for huge air
 
yesterday they had the contest. benedek threw a double cork 12 over it, rice a double backflip...

as soon as I find some, I'll post pics and vids...
 
There's no way it's 240 feet. That would be retartedly large and you would need to be going about 150 miles and hour to make it
 
Wow, thats crazy..i wonder who won...cuz in the video it said they were going to see who had the best trick and longest airtime on Saturday March 11th
