i would say my living room is pretty big :D are you thinking what im thinking?

haha i was wondering if anyone has ever done this like build a small rail and session it in your living room... or what else can you do at home in skis... my skis are not flexy at all so i cant try butters and all that untill i get my new skis and i really wanna get better at rails once my knee is good!! any advice?

what if its summer i just wanna have a cool small summer set up like

many people do, i cant ski urban im not good enough,i live in a condo

too...

I remember seeing someone on here who just set up a pvc pipe on like the side of a coffee table going down and used carpet skates.

thats exactly what i do, just go get some pvc or some thing and u can set sometihng up.

i have a course set up in my basement and i have a yard and stuff out side buts its alot of fun. carpet skates are really cheap and similar to skiing except there not skis. its good practice actually.

i think you would have better luck trying to set somthing up in your garage or driveway. if you have urbans ti wouldnt be hard to make a little 8 ft rail to practice on and buy some cheap carpet to slide on

sorry i feel bad now haha

thanks for the advice everyone!! i heard its good to have some kind of roll or idk barrel and just try to stay balanced for a while maybe that... or the arm rest of your couch or something but if you fall... well its gunna hurt haha

yea i do i just dont think its the same like when it comes to rails i suck at it i always eat it hard i prefer ledges and soul grind or pornstar not frontside scares me i wanna actually get better at skiing learn some sw ups, 270 ons. i wish i had a backyard :( who ever has one is sooo lucky appreciate what you have.

in my dorm the kids in the "suite" thing down the hall from me built a mini ramp in their common area... pretty baller.

you could ask around. theres prolly someone on NS with a setup near you who would prolly let you use it.

yeah, skating is not near as close to skiing as I thought it would be, so we built a killer back yard set up and it provides for awesome summer entertainment

haha i wouldn't be surprised steve-o's the shit!!!... that reminds me i also have stairs would that be too dangerous for a drop in? haha

just go step onto some urban rails

go to a populated park or something, and just watch the people stare at you as you ride a rail on skis in the middle of the summer

ya what a great idea.....if you have fkn snowblades....

i will laugh when u try this and post a picture of you with one ski stuck in one wall and the other stuck in a couch then the landlord or your neighbor, take your pic,,,wakes in and either smacks you in the face or robs you blind or all your skateboards because ur H-core

*of..before i can corrected here and jesus bam was getting paid by mtv to try to break every bone in his body....i hope someone pays you if u try this

ya i just do jibs on my downstairs couch and i set up a little looped half pipe rail that i try and slide back and forth on on my skis untill i get to the top. REALY works on your balance and its pretty fun too esp if you try switch ups and stuff on it. Stairs are pretty sketchy though one of my buddies went to highschool for a full day w/o taking off his skis, he was ripping like 20 sets and stuff but walking up stairs in skis is a bitch....

tell me how it goes for ya

haha yea the couch thing would work like in that one picture! im guna try that i bet i'll be fun!! but can you explan the looped half pipe rail a little more i dont really get it i need to work on my balance and MOSTLY sw ups i can prolly do that on my couch.

haha and that vid was awesome exactly was i thought of doing drop from my bed onto the rail lol any other ideas would be awesome to hear!
