Sony VX1000 w/ extras. $850

Hello newschoolers, today I have a Sony VX1000 up for sale. I bought it with intentions to start filming and editing but unfortunately have to sell it to cover other expenses. I just recently had the viewfinder ribbon replaced and the camera cleaned by a professional. It comes with a Sony hard case, a raynox wide angle lens, a battery, a charger, and a microfiber cloth to clean the lens'.

Wow, that is a great deal, looks really minty. Someone jump on this before this goes to Perception!
 
dang, everytime i see these vx's i wanna get one more and more and more and more. But then again, VX for skating=jesus, for anything else=average. Then HDSLR for skating=GOD, for anything else=jesus
 
is it an sd...im interested if it is....would you consider a trade for a panasonic...pm me....bumb
 
Hate to break it to you but I bought one for $650 almost 6 years ago. Pretty much brand new with a lot more stuff. I was amazed a camera from 1995 could hold it's value even that long.
 
Prices like that are scarce. this thing is mint and this is what most of the vx1k's go for alone on sp. a vx1k with bad heads sold for $400 on there.
 
It's supply and demand. They are slowly dying and for some reason people still desire them so the price is going up.
 
I wasn't hating on Skaters at all. I skateboard or more or less try to and take pictures of skateboarders. And I LOVE VX's with all my heart. I just don't understand why they're still high demand, yes I'd buy one but thats only because it takes a lot less work than a T2i. But there are pro filmers that shoot with a VX and I just don't know why they don't shoot HD.
 
Cause they can't afford a T2i and the vx1000 is still a decent camera. Someone get on this $750 with all that stuff is an amazing deal!

Im loling at this. dvxs go for about 800 on dvxuser, and the dvx is 1000 times better than a vx1k. You might get 500 if it was a vx2100, but 1k hmmm. Its sad my HVX sells for only abouy 2500 now and it retail 5200. Damn hddslrs.
 
I guess you don't go on skateperception. dvxs have the advantage because theyre newer but the 1k is still quality for a camera of its age. you could say vx1k>dvx>hvx...so on and so forth. I just need cash money anddd........price drop $700. I need money for a car, buy this puppy
 
yeah but something has to be replaced on it. $700, it comes with a case and a wide angle lens. I'll throw in all of my salomon stickers too if someone picks this up soon.
 
true. but 800 from ebay is better than 600 from sp or ns ... unless your friend or buddy wanted it or something
