Option
A: Right Click the clip, insert envelope, velocity, drag the line up and down to slow down or speed up.
B: Right click the clip, down to properties, playback rate (adjust from 0.0 to 4.0), chekc the following boxes, maintain aspect ratio and loop playback (makes it easier to trim up the clip to the desired lenfth), click ok.
You can use both together to play it twelve times faster, for time lapses, render and repeat, when you render make sure you check the box to fill output frame to stretch (do not letter box) as it will expontially make the video smaller.
