sony digital8??

hey, anybody have a sony digital8 camera? I want to get some sort of memory capturing device and cant decide over a slr camera or a digital vid cam, but dont really want to spend the cash for a minidv.

any input or advice would be appricated.

no it sucks...and you can make dv look like 16 with some decent editing. don't waste your money on Digital8, save for a while longer and get a minidv.

My digital 8 works perfect for me. You have to remember what you are going to be using the camera for, producing pro vids or just home vids. I just make home vids and the sony I have works great for it.
