I would get the DVX100B over an HDV camera, but Vx2100's are nice. Im bored of mine already tho. Save more and get the DVX100B.

id get one over hdv easy. but the vx vs. dvx is a hard choice, most people would say dvx, but i think the vx is pretty underrated

If you are considering the Panosonic Dvx-100b, I would go with that. It is a great camera that is pretty easy to use.
