Sony DCR-TRV50 or Not?

Im in the market for a new camercorder... I used to have a canon Zr65 but that met an unfortunate end... so im in the market for another camera. I was looking and the Sony DCR-TRV50 looked pretty good, has anyone owned/used this cam before? Just looking for some inpute. Keep in mind i dont want do spend more than 1200 so i dont think i can go up to 3 ccd. Thanks for any input!

 
yea, my friend has one like that, i know it's a sony dcr trv, but i donno the number part, but it's not bad, get the job done. i have a canon zr10, piece of shit...but i'm loookin into the sony dcr trv25, not too shabby...i found it for pretty cheap too

I had a TRV11 and it was dopetastic on sunny days, mediocre shots on cloudy ones but otherwise a great beginner-intermediate camera.

the 950 is really sick, its image is equal to that of a gl1, get it, the image will always be superb if you can set your exposure right
