Ever watch a vid (any, not just ski) where the riding is awesome but the song just ruins it for you? I'm still gathering a list. What's yours?

They use Harder better faster stronger in the new warren miller film. Its an awsome song, but its too mainstream for a ski movie in my opinion
 
ill do you one better, andreas in ski porn, absolutely terrible song and just redic skiing, i never watched it cause the song is that bad.
 
That song that jon larsson used in pull that sounded like he got it off a shitty music downloading site after it was recorded by poor quality recording equipment.

All the songs in realtime, have to agree there.

Alexisonfire for Mike Douglas in 7SD. That was bullshit. I mean come on, I liked his song last year, it was good, but then they pulled out mainstream-scream-into-mike band with like no originality? That really pissed me off.
 
For serious, the original is pretty damn good.

If I really don't like a song in a segment I'll just knock the volume out and play my own music over it... RealTime and segments like Hatveit's are too good to miss because of shitty songs...
 
Jeremy Jones' part in follow me around, the song was 25 or 6 to 4 by chicago, i don't mind the song by itself but it just didn't fit with his riding or in a snowboarding video at all
 
I HATED the organ shit that was playing during the whistler jump session in Seven Sunny Days
 
some of the worst music ive ever heard. also jp auclair crazy metal in ski porn and peps and anthony i war were so shitty.
 
ya that also killed the segment for me, i mean its sick to try something new and different in a video if you can pull it off, but the classical music just didnt fly for me, kinda bummed too cause the whistler jump was one of the things i looked forward alot to in seven sunny days
 
uhggg i dont know why but when he was talkin and actin like a fag in the beggining of his segment, it pretty much ruined the segment for me. dont know why but it made me feel embarassed to be a skier.
 
pete's song in yeah dude, that song was horrible and wayyyy to "badass" and angry.  and that one horrible pissed off rap song in believe for one of the segments with tanner i think.  those songs just make it seem like skiing is no fun.

In fact big mtn jeremy jones rode to it in 2 movies that year.

For me it's Fuel Injected by Swollen Members in Tanner Hall's segment in Happy Dayz, also Pep's song in a 1242, it just feels tacky the second time you watch it through. Also Sammy's and Vinnie's songs in War.
 
gotta disagree with a few of you guys

i like andreas' song in yeah dude, and petes song also in yeah dude is amazing, one of my favourite skiing songs. down to personal opinion though i guess
 
word. and i barely saw one full trick. they would show someone in the air and then cut to another person. ugh
 
Anthony's I agree for sure but peps seg went pretty well with the music. Plus it was the mars volta soo...yeah, not too shitty
 
sammy in yeah dude.. in fact most of yeah dude... in fact most of poorboyz movies. any wolfmother section... except i still like that one song by them in andy mahres part of war. heavy metal, all the songs in booter crunk. the cali p songs in idea are not very great either.
 
that's just because everyone has copied it and it has lost its value because it's heard in every edit that people try to be epic in.
 
pretty much every song in warren miller's storm and cold fusion. whoever was the music director for those movies should be shot.
 
I liked all of Realtime's music. And I keep feeling more and more that it is rediculous to have any sort of gangster rap in a skiing. I actually felt uncomfortable for Enjoy.
 
yeah i though pretty much every song in realtime was really really good.  and i also thought enjoys music was kinda shitty.  just too much rap for such a white persons sport.
