Anyone got any good songs for a ski movie that HASNT been used before? whether it be rock, rap, gay, or gayer.. dont care.. yep

black shuck by the darkness would be a killer song...especially for an intro. i doubt it's ever been used cause they're kinda new. playa's ball or red velvet by outkast...pretty much anything by outkast actually

all of these you should listen to a few times before you condemn them to death. ski films can be innovative just by switching up the music sometimes.

3. electric six - 'danger!high voltage!'

4. le tigre - 'deceptacon'

5. black sabbath - 'paranoid' (download it even if you hate sabbath)

Jedi Mind tricks have some songs that would be pretty good, you might need to edit them so they will flow better with the part. Yeah any song used in any action sports video in the last 5 to 6 years has to be out of the question. With the exception of productions that did not get circulated very much, in other words no one would recognize any songs from it.

Check out some yeah, yeah yeahs stuff, they have been used in a snowboard video or use Pretty Girls Make Graves, they sound similar and I don't belive they have any songs in videos. The Rapture may or maynot have been used...I think a lot of that atmosphere and aseop rock are going to be used this year, they are pretty popular, the cure alwas come through in the clutch also, they have so many albums your bound to find a song that has not been used. Find cool '60s and '70s music.

street caviar remix by dl was already used in hibbert's part in strike 3, and liquid swords by gza was used for mickael's part in exact science. good tunes though.

also, stereotypes kinda isnt that good, because tara chase blows in the second verse. i think firepower would be a better dl song to use; short, and freaking catchy and powerful. but i have dibbs on it.

and ive always wanted to use the song 'escape pod for intangibles' by hopesfall. or 'redshift'. soo laid back, and yet somewhat eerie.

i didn't think hibbert used that version. well i dunno. havn't seen strike 3 in forever. too many segs to keep track of. but for the record some of you are purposly listing like entire movie soundtracks. theres a difference between accidently doing it and just pasting it off a soundtrack forum. stop that shit and give some real advice. ok i have some more here.

an amazing intro song would be poet laureatte II by canibus. it's like almost 8 minutes and he just never lets up. not chorus. it's a sick song. i think cool clam and relaxxed could be good. true to the game, can't remember who sings it tho. survival of the fittest by mobb deep. turbo charged, also can't remember who it's by. levitibus by canibus. try some common. he's pretty decent. sacrifice by jedi mind tricks is another good one by them. i think they also do winds of war, concrete schoolyard, road to glory, and another one that i can't remember right now. i think it has 'gold' in the name. acid raindrops by people under the stairs. and 'all I can do' also can't remembr who it's by. bright as stars talib kweli. moves something, talib kweli. poison, one mic, hate me now, affirmative action, and most songs by Nas. hell on earth, mobb deep. sorry i can't remmeber so many artists. i am away from ym computer. only have my MD player so it doens't list artists. too many to remember. ^^^ to whoever it was that said Radiohead - Paranoid Android and Led Zep - Moby Dick.....

Although both songs are absolutely INCREDIBLE, they just don't flow enough to go well with a ski movie. MABYE if you used parts of Pa.Android, then it might work. And the rocking out part of Moby Dick in the very beginning would work too. But, that part of Moby Dick is only 1.5 minutes long.

Just thoughts.

I'll post some songs when I get home and rock through my MP3's
