Do you guys ever sit down to do an assignment with music playing and you find that your mood gets totally and drastically changed by the style and the words of the song?? I have been finding that over the last 8 or 9 hours that when I play System of a Down I get into real philisophical thinking about the government and politics and stuff and when I listen to some other stuff it's like I get a little upset and worry about parts of my life that the song relates to, it's so weird, you guys get that too or is it just coz I haven't slept for 40 hours.

yeah it's crazy as hell, haha, Stabbing Westward now and it's getting me all paranoid, haha, whoa, crazyness, I need sleep, this is getting silly, 41 hours, almost, haha, oh well, it will be soon. And in 4 and a half hours I have to be in a suit giving people tours of the building, haha, oh that should be gold.

ya i know, I judge a music by how it changes my mood, radiohead is the best at depressing me, and system of a down is the best at making me think, If music can't change my mood then i don't like it.

I seriously agree. Music is awesome that way. It's totally mack that when you're working on something, your mood can be set by the music you're listening to.

Stabbing Westward is some weirded-out shit... yeah, sometimes I listen to Rage while doing homework, but then I hear a very soft noise in the background...

I always start singing along to music when I'm studying, and then I start wondering what the lyrics are, so I look them up and then I get sidetracked! Its not good!! I can't study without music though.

Music is great, but I admit that it can prove to be a huge distraction... I'm learning that NS can be, too. Again, great distractions.

Music is amazing. Punk music just totally shapes you. it often puimps up and makes mesay, no, im not gonna do this because everyone wants me too...

Kami has a point tho. Anti-authoritian music is bad to study too. But I can't study to silence, so i'm thinking of checking out some of that blues, maybe some Duke Ellington.

yeah music totally changes me too. Punk gets me really pumped up to do anything and some good rap like 2Pac gets me thinking about the things in his songs.
