when i was at snow i cased a couple jumps causing my right heel to hurt like a bitch.. it only hurts when i do a lot of stuff such as skate, run around, jump or walk for a long time... its been a week after i went there and im beginning to think there really something wrong with my heel

any solutions? or ideas?

BESIDES GOING TO THE DOCTOR

well... the same thing happened to me from casing a jump... it doesnt hurt when i skate around... but it does hurt when i walk/run or jump... its probably just a bruised heel and u just have to stay off of it and put no impact on it for it to heal... ive ridden with mine for a while now... sometimes when i land it hurts like hell... especially if its icy or firm snow... it doesnt go away cause i just keep putting pressure on it, but itS almost the end of the year here and im not about to stop skiing for my heel to heal... lol just stay off of it... or fight through the pain...

You either bruised or cracked your heel, depending on how hard you hit. It can take anywhere from a couple weeks to a couple months to heal, depending on the extant of the injury. It sucks, but that's just the way it is. Not really anything you can do to make it heal faster either, besides letting it rest a bit. Try not to keep aggravating it too much or it could prolong recovery time. Pretty much if it hurts, don't do it. If it doesn't you're fine.

yeah i had the same problem, overshot a jump and my right heel hurt like hell. i thought at first something serious had gone wrong but dont ski for a week and take a lot of anti-inflammatory drugs and you should be good to go.

if all you wear is skateboarding shoes, it might be just the fact you have no arch in your shoe...the lack of tension in the arch causes the heel to hurt....it has a name but i forget what it is called....look it up online

probably just bruised it from casing. if it hasn't caused you enough pain to go to a doctor for the last week and you've been skateboarding and stuff I really doubt its anything more serious than that. maybe that tendon business mentioned above but since it started after you cased shit bruise sounds pretty likely.

I got plantar fasciitis real bad from playing ultimate nearly every day a few summers ago. Best thing to do is stretch and massage your calves and the bottoms of your foot. And take some time off. That's the only thing that will help you get better.

Sounds like what my dumbass did. Except I wasn't skiing when it happened.

Anywho it took over a year before it stopped bothering me.
