Something new everyday.

My goal for this season was to do something each day that I have never done before, a rail, a jump or learn new shit. So far I have accomplished my goal everyday and was just wondering if anyone else does the same thing?

Like each day you ski do you have something you want to learn/do or do you just ski and see what happens?

i try to do this but sometimes if the conditions suck or im just not feelin it i wont because i dont want to gt hurt. but when theres a day where its warm and the landings are soft i always set out to try to get a couple new tricks.

sick stuff i dont really do anything like that i just go and have fun and if im lucky somethin new pops in my head

i always have a list in my head of 2 or 3 things, and go out and see what im feeling on that day and try to get atleast one of the tricks.

I always pick 2 or 3 new tricks I want to learn at the start of the season and my goal is to learn them by the last day of the season.

i try to do that when the conditions are nice and soft. if its icey and whatnot, i usually just do what i know i can do.

I think that it is important, however, to practice what you know and get it down so you know you got the trick almost every time you go do it. then you learn new stuff (like a grab or something). i never used to do that so i just learned to huck a bunch of different types of rotations. now i gotta make it look stylish, which is what ive been trying to do most of the season.

My goal is to relearn switch spins larger tha switch 5, and spinning on.

I ate poop 2 seasons ago real bad, and have been weirded out by it ever since.

so i want to learn to not be a pussy.

I'm pretty confident I learn or do something new every time I go skiing. It may be as simple as hitting something new, throwing something new off of an old feature, or trying a new trick. I think it's great to do something different everytime you're out.

same here, more so on the line of at least trying something new everyday, since i might not land it first day out

the first couple years that I was into park skiing I'd almost always learn something new everyday. I didn't even have to try too hard, it just came so naturally. Nowadays it's a lot harder for me to pump out new tricks everyday.
Even still... if I'm having a depressing day out on the hill, I'll usually go into the park and force myself to try something I have never done before. Or if I'm not in the mood for the park I'll go and ski a new line somewhere... I have a problem where I fear that if I stop progressing my skiing I will get bored and quit... and we all know - that's just not an option.

Im going tomorrow and im already have a couple goals in mind. hopefully i land atleast one. im pretty sure i can.
