It seems your counter arguments dive miles beyond the subject at hand and nitpick the subtlest points in order to form a seemingly intelligent response. I in no way think you are not a bright creature, because you are, you just need to respond to the relavent displayed argument. Wrong. Many of the terrorists that took part in 9/11 had expired Visas. If the proper law enforcement would have acted upon this, they would have been found before they could do anything. The terrorists also learned to fly on US Soil. Besides that point, the US military should be able to take out a plane within a matter of minutes. Also a terrorist plane was allowed to fly around over the Pentagon which is restricted airspace. To try and blame this on the american citizens for not giving up their civil liberties is a complete crock of shit. The CIA and the FBI have admitted themselves that they failed and their communications was completely FUBAR.

you infer far too much. probably why you are so misinformed. i didnt say giving up civil liberties should be right by any means. im just saying that 9/11 was a world changing event and how it shook the very foundation that our beliefs are built on.
 
The government's excuse for failing to respond was that on 911 Cheney was running NORAD training exercises involving such scenarios as hijacked airplanes and was in control of all defense and counter-terrorism activites, so 'they' 'didn't know' if it was real or 'a drill'.....

You are fucking retarded. A number of attacks were foiled before 9/11 without taking away individual rights ala patriot act. All the evidence leading to 9/11 was there, but our government sat back and let it happen.
 
I didn't realize contradicting something you said qualifies as irrelevant and off topic nitpicking. I'll be inclined to believe your argument more when you don't make assessments that, frankly, sound like total crap.

You made the seemingly outlandish claim that war is a liberal thing to do. A statement at face value I will adamantly argue is untrue regardless of with definition of "liberal" you use. I already explained that. So instead of thumbing you nose at me, it would be more prudent to do one of three things:

1) Actually back up your prior assessment by going into more detail.

2) Explain you made a mistake didn't articulate your argument correctly, then reexplain it.

3) Clam up and either let it go or admit you are wrong.

You have not done any of those. You cannot expect me to honor your opinion when I think it is wrong and you can't even bother to explain it. I have reason to believe my own opinions are correct. If I didn't, I probably would not choose them as my opinions. And I will try to articulate what I think to its fullest. I have actually admitted that I have been wrong before, but only after people actually bother to explain why I am wrong.

youre missing my point. im not saying in anyway that its right to give up individual rights to prevent attacks. what im saying is the fbi/cia cant be totally at fault here. in fact they arent. its the fault of the sand niggers alone to fly airplanes into buildings. period. the fbi didnt sit back, it thought it had bigger problems. read the 9/11 commission report. it gives their side of the story too.

for the record, i despise the fbi and cia. i think both should be done away with. i am a moderate conservative.
