the band I'm talking about is Tokyo Electron. I would say their cd is the best relese of 2005. Its a little rough for straight up rock (especially the recording) hence garage, plus the hooks are garage style, and a little fast to not be called punk. But if you can get past the recording quality and the roughness (both things I like anyway) I think you will find amazing musical talent in this band, and atleast great energy that you will really feel!

think a rougher old The Hives who are slightly more creative in the sounds they use.

tokyo electron is real weird, their second single was fucking great, but the lp is a snore. their live set is terrible also. and it doesnt touch anything the reatards did.

whats wrong with the lp? some of the songs have less energy/fuzz/swampyness, but overall, I think it is great. Yea the Retards are good.
