Im looking for a new ski for next season.

I weigh about 145 lbs and am 5'9 and looking for a powder / all mtn ski, something that if they snow is shit then ill be able to fool around in the park in...rails are not much of a concern. I was think something along the lines of:

179 Made'n ak

175 or 182? 4frnt VCT

Line Elizabeth

Volkl Gotama

any other suggestions?

thanks

andy

i had mother ships that got way to small...i was gunna pick up a pair of original gotama's with p12 jib's for 400 cnd but the guy sold em before i got a chance. Line is having alot of problems with there skis since they moved to china which kinda makes me lean away from them even if the lizzies are so god damn sexy. Im definetly leaning towards to 179 maidens but have no clue were to mount for some park and some mtn

iw pould choose gotamas. you won't spin that much with them but you could own the steeze skiing park with those skis!

i dont think the elizabeths are made in china, im not sure though. i think they make those and the prophets in the us or canada

lizbeths are dope but they're a bit more park/powder oriented. if you want something fat that could rip allmountain i recommend prophets... i demoed a pair in december and they rocked everywhere! i bought mine soon after but haven't got much time on snow since so i'm sellin them, let me know if you're interested.

i fuckin love the volkls in the pow, there is nothing better, but the gotama/mantra both have only a minor tail, and can be more tough than alot of true twins in the park for switch landings. Have you thought about seth V's? or JPvs. Julian, but out of all of them the volkls are def. goign to be the best strictly in the pow and esp. the crud if you still like to go off piste in less than ideal, alot of the other skis are too light to bust through crud

dude out of everything I use, and have used, Gotamas are the easiest to stick switch landings in POW, much less a park, the rear tips are massive.

I just got the mo22(next year SICK AS HELL elan twins)like 1 hour ago, theyre about the widht of the seth pistols, just the perfect stifness to do both powder and park + DOUBLE FUCKING RAIL EDGES... when I tought the mo2 owned the rail-warranty...+ the 174 is lighter and wider than than the 165 mo2...
