ok, the problem with any kind of summer skiing is the fact that skis are gravity propelled, and to actually do anything fun with them, you need a big hill. iy your bored and feel like carving, get two old scooters, and hack the handles off. stand on them, one on each foot, and hold onto the handles. kinda Gay? yeah, but it works great, and actually feels good. but anyway, back to the point.
the key to making summer not suck, is to get another hobby that you can replace skiing with. granted, it sucks at first when you are still developing the initial skills, but after a while, it will become as fun as skiing. plus, it will bring a new set of skills to your skiing, and youll meet all sorts of new people. I took up mountain biking (mostly DH and trials) a couple years ago, and it has seriously been one of the smartest things ive ever done. not only is it INSAINELY fun, its an excelent workout, and in my opinion, biking (of any kind) is the closest it gets to skiing. but i also longboard, and that rocks too. just find something that allows you lunlimited progression, and you will not only keep yourself intertained over summer, you will look forward to it, and you wont be a fat blob at the start of the season.
and oh yeah, comming from a longboarding background, the reason there isnt any real street ski, is that it is just about impossible to mimic a skis ability to not only hold hard carves, but also slide. the freebord is just about the only exception, and that is acceiveable only because of the massively wide trucks.
i looked on google but all i could find was 3D Animation porn-sxmarty6
