Some shots at an airshow

So for my 1000th post I thought I'd share some pics I took at an airshow recently. Feel free to comment/critique. The airplanes flying in formation are the Canadian Force's Snowbirds. Shot with my T2i and my Dad's old FD mount Tamron 85-210 f4.5-22 connected with a Bower FD to EOS 1.4x adapter (decided to buy a name brand instead of a chinese version from ebay, which was not worth it since I spent 2 hours filing the FD side down to actually fit the lens).

FD mount Tamron 85-210mm f4.5-22 connected with a Bower FD to EOS 1.4x adapter. With the extra glass in the adapter the lens is really a 119-294mm (35mm film equivalent of 190-470mm). Though it's definitely not high quality glass (the lens or the adapter), there's a ton of Chromatic Abberation at the wider f stops and the pics feel a little washed out to me. Fun to play around with a tele lens though, even if it's nothing amazing.
