any body go to: FGCU, Coastal Carolina, NC State, FL State, or UCCS?
im going to be applying as a PGM major for them, the only reason im considering UCCS is for skiing, but ive heard its a shitty school and other things bad about dorms and shit, but how is it distance wise for decent skiing? hows the snow, im assuming retty good out there. also any bpdy go to these schools as a PGM major? how are the dorms there?
also i would be transfering in as a sophmore.

thanks for any help, as uual Karma will be given for helpful peeps

yup, should be super sick. also im only considering UCCS, if i didnt put this before, for some skiing, so if it has real shitty skiing or something that wont make it worth it compared to going somewere south, i wouldnt consider it

Well if you are going to UCCS in the Springs, you might as well just go to Boulder if you can afford it. I'm in the Springs and we are 2 hours from most mountains in Summit County (Breck, Keystone, Vail, etc.) so the skiing is great. You would probably have more fun in Boulder though just because a lot of people at UCCS are from the Springs and the whole college scene isn't so prevalent.

bump, mostly looking for peoples info on Coastal, FGCU, NC state, and FL state uccs is kind of on the back burner, its not the best choice for me, but is still an option

I know a kid at FGCU and FL State. The kid from FGCU didnt really like it and came back to the northeast but i know the kid at FL State liked the program a lot. Have you looked at ASU or Methodist? i know both those schools have really good PGM programs

i have, but i have lots of family on the eastcoast, i may apply to ASU, but i dont really wanna go to a religousy school like methodist or cambell

I am sorry its not "colorado" its "baller-ado"

If you are going to come to our state, you must know the name.

granted, you can't pick a school SOLELY on skiing, i can defintely make the point that you should go to a school where you're going to enjoy a good quality of life, even if it doesn't necessarily have the best rep on your list. i know that i'd be a very unhappy girl if i chose to go to school a long way away from skiing, i can't imagine myself anywhere but ballerado at this point. if you're all about skiing, it'd be a huge bummer to go to school in a flat snow-less place, because all day you'd just be dreaming about shredding, yadadamean?

that said, a friend of mine goes to coastal carolina and says there's an overwhelming majority of dumb stereotype sorority hoes. cool if that's what you're into i suppose. i guess i'm not all too informed on those other schools.

My step dad went to NC state. I don't know too much about it but I know it is good for anything engineering or agriculture related. I want to go to appalachian state in NC because of their oenology program.

State is probably about 2 hours from skiing if that is something helpful. Appalachian ski mtn has a really good terrain park and is probably the closest. A lady from state came to my class the other day and gave me a tractor shaped stress toy because I answered a question right.

I took the old version in 7th grade and got like 500 in math and 400 in reading. That's not great but that was in 7th grade. Something about standardized tests just come so easy to me.

ya, like i wnat to be ale to ski, but if tis not the best choice for my major then i have to make sacrifices. also ill be coming back east to ski all winter break, which will be good.

also ballerado, that just plain awesome.
