Some Precipitation...

I really hope this storm brings in like 5 feet of snow at least, for 2 things:

1. Pow

2. Booters
 
Thats not going to happen any time soon...

What we need to look at is Siberia and East asia...

If you see thunderstorms building in and around the philippines mixed with lots of cold storms in siberia... someone on the west coast is going to get POUNDED... via the pineapple express effect...

This is La Nina... get ready for a few ridiculous dumps... when they decide to happen... the beginning of 05 was all because of la nina... which is why when it dumped, it dumped in 50 inch increments... all at once... in November.. Just like what happened at Whistler this season... Hell.. even March of 06 was la nina based. (which is why it snowed 300 inches in a month)

Sooner or later the storms are going to spew... we just need luck to prevail.
 
wasn't there a giant typhoon over there like 1-2 weeks ago that killed abunch of people and wrecked shop.
 
yeah.. thats the energy that slammed into the pnw with hurricane force winds, ripped through the northern rockies, and dumped massive loads of white stuff in the east this last week.

In two weeks the jet stream will break through the high pressure system which is pushing the moisure out of the region and bring plenty of cold moisture from across the pacific to start the season off right.
