Some people cant ride chairlifts

I was next in line for the doubles chair at my hill today and infront of me was a man and his younger daughter (around 6 or 7). When they went to get on the chair.. i dont know what the man was thinking.. he waited too long to move to the loading zone and the chair was about to sideswipe both of them. The dad was on the outside and the daughter was on the inside and when the chair came to hit the dad he attempted to push the chair around him. Little did he know, his daughter wasn't as far up as he was and the chair swung after he let go and nailed the little girl. The girl went flying like 4 ft in the air and nailed the cement wall of the operating booth

it was pretty hard not to laugh in their faces for being retarded...
 
holy shit piss, I swear to god 10 people on the whole fucking mountain at Manning can managed to ride up a Tbar without fucking it up completely. 30 PEOPLE LONG LINES TODA"Y! ON THE GODDAMN BUNNY HILL (which is where the temp. park is set up)
 
Haha, good story. I remember last year I was going up on the lifts and me and my friends would always used to lift our skis up so that our tail would dig into the ground and leave big long mark in the snow everytime we went up, just so that we could watch the lifty yell at us in french. We didn't understand a word of it and he never seemed to get us in trouble for it. It was all fun until one time I decided to try to push my nose down and try to make a mark that way, What a dumb idea that was... My ski dug into the ground and got stuck because it was moving forward and the chair pushed me but I got sucked under it and dragged behind it for a foot or two.

It was so embarrissing. I could hear everyone laughing at me and calling me a retard. I geuss its funny if it deosnt happen to you.
 
When you first start out its so hard to get on the chair. When i started snowbaording when i was like 9 it was such a challenge getting on and off because of my size.
 
when i own the world (aka when I become the manager of a ski area) I am going to outlaw the "Stop" button on chairlifts.

I also plan on outlawing bad skiers and only allowing pros, friends, really good people and NS'ers to ski there. And there will be bears that hibernate in the summer so they can hang out in the winter to eat people if theyre bad.

I'm also on lots of vicodin so we'll see where this goes...
 
yea i saw this one asian woman get run over by the chair on friday, i just heard a scream and then she was on the ground and the skis were on the chair, it was hard not to laugh
 
hahahaaaaaa i remeber i was getting on the chairlift and the seat wasnt flipped donw but i still tried to get on it and then i was down on the ground with a fucked up binding but a hott liftie helped me

1 time this kid asked me to go up on the chairlift with his lil bro and i said ok...we were getting on and i was gonna be on the outside and his lil bro was gonna be on the inside and when we went on he moved over to get on it and stoped on the outside of the chair where i was supposed to be..and this was like right when the cair was behind us so i was like wtf and i pushed him over and tried to jump into my spot and when i did my ass landed on the very edge of the chair and it pulled me up and then i fell onto my face..i was fuckin pissed
 
one time when i was giving a lesson this little girl who had supposedly ridden the chair before jumped off about 15 feet from the off ramp. to top it off she was the owners girlfriends niece or something like that.
 
I am actually going to school to be a "revokeing" cop. I will have the power to walk up to people and arrest them and ban them from them public
 
well seeing as im a lifty which sucks that whole story with people getting hit with the chair happens alot like 1st week i worked some guy was paying more attention to his daughter than to himself he inched to far ahead he got picked up by the chair the chair swung after it picked him up and hit the 4 kids getting ready for the chair and knocked all of them on their face a good 5 ft in front of where they were standing then the guy rode up with 3 of the people that got hit and the other boarder rode up with the guys daughter because he didnt want to get off!!! what a fucking asshole
 
last week sometime there were 2 kids that are joeys and just happen to be brothers and the was a long lift line. for some reason they were trying to get on the quad while there were already four people standing there and then the chair hit the youngest one and it had to stop and the liftie started laughing... it was pretty funny but mean at the same time.
 
when i was like 4 my coat got stuck on the chair, and i kept going down and they stopped it and had to get a ladder to get me down ahah

I've never understood why people can't get on/off lifts. All you have to do is sit your ass on a chair, then get up. Fuck, my dog can do it.

Anyways, today on the weather channel, they showed the proper technique on how to get on/off lifts with these aspen-extreme-looking ski instructors. It was really funny, but you had to watch it, because it is so stupid.
 
haha, theres so many idiot skiers on the mtns these days. if u think its bad, ry coming down to ncover a holiday period, there are hoinestly people who have never seen snow that come up and just are clueless about everything, even the lunch line.
 
poor girl. most of the time i just see the kids not get on and get knocked down or get on but are hangin half off
 
a freind of mine fell off at the top, and looked up at the wrong time and took a chair to the face.

and the other day, i went to get on a quad with 1 other kid, and i didnt look at it, but when i went to sit down, i felt something so i couldnt sit down, so i look down, and hte freakin bar is already down. this would have been quite a conviniance if i wasnt supost to be undernieth it by the time it is down. anyway, i jump on top of it and ride ontop of the bar untill the lift stops and i jump off...
 
there were a bouch of like 5 yr old racer bitches in the terrain park and they couldnt get on the lift and like 10 fell off in like 15 mins
 
haha yea thats dope...kind of like two days ago...i was standing on the spot where the chair meets with your ass...waiting for it to come around the bend...i am with 3 other people (quad lift) and i look over my shoulder...and there is some fucking chinese guy on his snowboard comming right at me from behind...and he just has this huge ass smile on his face...i fucking dive out o the way along with twoof my bodies (landing on cement on my skis=not good for buissness) and he is know sitting on the fucking chair lift with my crazy ass brother crazy carl...and he loks to my brother with a massive grin on his face...and just says..."hi"
 
at manning i was getting on the first lift on one of the chairs and i didn't look behind me, and the seat wasn't down. one of my friends got stuck in the chair and i had to jump off before i did it was hilarious.
 
Soemtimes in March we get the really little ppl out at our hill. Some of them are so short that the lift comes and they are too short to sit on it, it jsut hits them in the back and they fall over.
