Some nice new bindings

i went skiing 2 times and broke my rossi axial2 120 pro bindings 3 times, if you can believe it. first the right toepiece snapped off, then the left toepiece cracked in half, and one of the breaks broke. i dont do anything that big, i mean, pros obviously do biggger stuff and fall harder and they dont break their bindings that much. i need a new binding from rossi that wont break everytime i ski, can someone give me some suggestions?

wow thats some serious bad luck..maybe go for something race stock, with metal in the toe/heel like the FKS 120 or 155 (depending on how high you run your DINs) - certainly more durable

thanks guys, yeah ive heard about the FKS 155 , but just hearing that they are a race binding and not just a park binding threw me away, even though it doesnt matter. i set my din at 7 in the back and the front. how does anyone like these bindings? durable?

pretty much all metal, durable, solid, lots of threads on them. I have a pair of FKX bindings, but i don't really know a whole lot about them, except the FK series has high dins and turntable heel release.

do a search for FKS and you will find all you need to know..they won't break on you either.(Well at least you dont be snapping heel or toepieces in a hurry)

awesome - as they are race stock the brakes are quite narrow..so depending on your skis, you will probably need to bend the brakes which can be a little tricky.

Once again there are plenty of threads here and on TGR about how to do this

yeah dude, i have the 06-07 chronics, so ill probably just have to bend them a tiny bit, or can i get wide breaks?

they don't make wide brakes for those because they're integrated into the heelpiece. I don't even think it's possible to take them out.

yea, fks are durable as fuck, but they don't have the nice toe release that the p series did. if you can find some old p series bindings, they're IMO the best park binding ever made. that is if you ski park. for big mountain I like the FKS for sure.

the good thing about the p series is that almost anything that "breaks" can be ghetto-stomped back in to place and work again.

PS. If you snapped the toe piece off the first time, how did you ride the other 2 times?

i broke the toepiece on m right ski the first time, got a free new toepiece from the shop. next time i skied i broke the break, still skied for the rest of the day. at the end of the day, i looked down and noticed that the left toepiece was cracked, i moved my foot, and it broke off.

do u guys break the axial 2 120 pros alot? i feel like maybe i got a bad set of bindings or something, is that possible?

ya all in all you want to stay away from the sratch bindings. i had the same problems with pieces snapping off and defective brakes so at least your not alone. i got the FKSs put on my skis as everyone was suggesting and they DO work. they DONT snap in half, and the brakes DO work. deff get em.

get some salomon s916's they are bomber as fuck, and thats the only time i recomend a salomon binding, and it sounds like you got a lemon for those bindings, you should be able to warrenty them

yeah im gunna go with the fks 155's, everyone that i talked to seemed to love them and said they are bombproof
