Fuck yeah. I ski at a shitty little hill in Jersey. We have sketchy ass jumps, with even more sketchy ass landings. But you know what, we have a blast together. I love the people I ride with, and I love even more seeing little kids stick shit they tired for the first time.
Going to Mt. Snow and PC made me see the real difference between the type of skiing that I enjoy, and the type of skiing that seems to bee popular these days. Just because you don't throw down on every single run makes your "game" seem weak. When the fuck did people start caring about that, seriously? The best skiers I know never claim, never comment on how others ride, and always show love to everyone regardless of skill level. It's those insecure motherfuckers that are always watching what other people do, and make a comment on how they could do it better. When the fuck did we become racing? We all know that maybe only 5% of this site can ski up to what is considered "banger" level tricks. Real skiing is the shit we see everyday, not what you see in a edit. Go out, instead of shitting on that kid who can't slide a box, tell him to lean forward. Maybe you'll feel better about yourself.
