Some dudes hellbents

What he said. 350 is pretty expensive depending on the binding. If there is no binding then that is really expensive. You can find hellbents popping up pretty often for less than that.

K2’s always measured super long. Like a 189cm was definitely a 193cm. And I echo what the people above have said. $350 without bindings for a ski that old is a terrible price. With bindings the price is decent but not good

Talk him down a bit and i'd say go for it. I looooove my hellbents they are so fun to mob around on.

There is no reason ever to need something with that much rocker and waist width. Probably will love them in the pow, but hate them more on hardpack. I had some friends with these growing up. You ever seen anyone ski the K2 pontoons non hard pack? Well same Idea except with a twin tip. Youre a rocking horse with like plastic rockers instead of wood. Go or the powabungas if you want something that wide. Much newer updated design, a little taper to free you up in the pow, just as much float, probably a little more versatile too.
