Solomon threat or line invader???!?!?

i think you should go with line, everyone here are saying that salomon skis are breaking and everything + bad warranty i think.

noodle or time bomb? Line invaders are very soft and skinny (noodles), Salomon Threats are not durable what so ever (time bombs). If these are your only two options (I'm guessing it has to do with money - cause these are two of the cheapest ski from last year) I'd go with the invaders, but I highly suggest you look around to see what else you can find, there are a lot of good deals out there right now on 09 gear (check all the outlet websites like evogear and backcountryoutlet).

much stiffer, very good "starter" ski or price point ski. I skied these as my first twin tip, I gave them to a friend and they are still being skied to this day (although not in the park much anymore). I'd say out of the 3 this is the most bang for the buck. The only downside is the stiffness factor for some people (I like my skis kinda stiff - so it was perfect for me).

they're are a bunch of skis that could work, I can list a bunch, but it would help if I had your height, weight, skier ability, where you ski (east, mid west, or west), what you ski (park, rails, jumps, all mountain, ect.) and mostly budget.
Disorderly's have gotten some mixed reviews, I know people who love them, I know people who hate them. I've never ridden them personally though.

Silencers sound pretty good for you - you don't want Invaders for sure, they wont be very stable. Armada El Rays or ARvs are good options as well, also look into Line Chronics and Volkl Ledges.

If it was between the two I would go with the invaders. Salomon has been having all types of problems with durability lately. I would try going to see if a local ski shop or online has any '09 skis in stock that are your size. You can probably get a better ski at a cheaper price rather then shelling out more money towards this years invader or threat models.

well my silencers arent stiff at all they are the 07/08 model (the ones with the knives) they started out real poppy but after like 5 or 6 days the pop turned to soft butteryness. you might have a differant year cause mine were the exact opposite of yours.

if your going to be in the park alot go with the invaders if your gonna be everywhere go with the silencers.

I loved my invaders... Everyone on NS is going to say there too skinny or too soft but in my opinion i loved them. If your pretty light i would go for Invaders. Im 130lbs and i ride 171

Out of these two i would say the invaders because from what i have heard they hold up pretty well and last year salomon's skis were falling apart

i have used both in the past year, definitely go with the invaders. soooo durable. and they're nice and light. saloman threats are junk and break easily. they'd be good if more durable. hope that helps

The threat falls apart within a short period of time so obviously not that one. The invader is a pretty durable ski so if it were between those 2 get the invader
