Im goin ther on the 20th of jan, i was wondering if it is ne good this year? ne one live there? where are the best spots, has there been alot of powder

i went there two yrs ago for a day...didnt really liek the way the mtn was set up. to get to the best runs at the top of the back bowl, u had to take 3 slow lifts to get there, and there is a lift in the back bowl but its at the bottom...look a trail map and ull understand.

if i was up in the canyon, id go to brighton instad, better park, just more fun all around if the conditions are good

I have skied at solitude a couple of times and liked it. They always have awesome snow. But you have to go into solitude realizing it is a little more old school in style...slower lifts. You have to be able to enjoy yourself on a mountain that, yes, does not have the greatest set up, but still has some awesome stuff. Anything in the back bowl is good and that milky way tree area is nice too.

We'll have you dead pretty soon.
 
when i went there the snow was great, def better then brighton, but the mtn setup was not to my taste
