Software Nerds?

Any computer nerds out there? I'm not talking online gaming, or excessive web surfing. More like, software developers, programmers, server admins, DBAs, Access or Excel guru’s. Either for work or as a hobby.

Geek it out and represent.

Also is there a cult for this kind of nerd talk?

PS. I search bar'ed: Software, Development, Programmer, Java, and C++ and came up with nothing.

I'm a Computer Science major, working at a programming job over the summer. I also am a hardware nerd. Build all my own computers. So yeah, nerd over here.

I program using realtime operating systems. (vxworks, qnx). Things like dialysis machines, industrial machinery, displays in cars, etc.

I program user interfaces. All in C++

Just joking. I have to upgrade two db's this weekend from 10.1 to 10.2_02. Sounds easy, but it is on a production system running as a cluster.
