Softshells

I'm looking for some softshells to wear to school this fall/winter, since I don't want to wear my skiing jacket everyday and end up just shoving it in my locker...If you guys have any ideas I would be very appreciative. Unfortunately, I am looking to buy new from a shop/online site so I don't want any offers, just ideas.

haha that's too much for me..I'm looking to pay about $100-$150. Of course, if I like the jacket i'll spend more.

I've found the Apex for $140 online, which I am considering but I just wanted to get some other ideas

Softshells can be ridiculously expensive, unless its like a Columbia liner. Have you thought about more insulated hoodies? But the mountaineering/more traditional companies make good ones.
