Hi

I am currently in the marked for a new pair of skis, I have a pair of Pipe Cleaners for park, that replacet my THUGs that I was using for everything. So now I need a new pair of powder/allround skis that I can also take to the park.

The ski I am looking for should be at least 180, the best would be between 183 and 185. Underfood it should be between 100 and 120. Also the softer the ski is the better, as I would like it to bee very playfull and fun. Rockered could be an option, would like some comments on that too. A light ski would be good too, but not a must.

The skis I have been looking at so far is:

Atomic Pimp

K2 Hell Bends

Moment Josh Bibby

Surface Thrash Life (if it is going to be out next season)...

Oh, and by the way. I am 180 cm and 90 kg.

hell bents are really fun but they are pretty heavy but if you are strong they should be alot of fun for you. they are stiffer underfoot but the tips are really soft so u can still play around but they still handle surprisingly well on hardpack

I would suggest EP pros first though, they are soft throught the whole ski and they are very light if you are interested you should message halfpennysti he has a pair and he could give you some info

The bibby pros are supposed to be a good ski but i doubt many people here could give you too informative of a review, however i talked to bibby and he was saying that they are going to be pretty stiff underfoot and i think he said they will come in a 196 or a 198 i forget.

I dont know anything about the atomic pimps, however the chris benchetler pro model is supposed to be similar to a hellbent so you might want to look into that.

What's wrong with the Thugs?

Bacons maybe or Prophet 100. I skied the Prophet 90 and it would make a nice park ski, aparently the 100 is a tad softer.

he wants a soft light ski remember?

metal matrix, it runs down the ski making it stiff and heavier, ive never been able to take a pair prophets out but id like to cause they look amazing for what they are made for, charging. but i dont think they would be to playful

Yeah I thought that too but the 90 was a real surprise. Really lively, like I said it would be a sick park ski.

i think bacons would be good for you, there fairly long, there soft, there great in powder and there still pretty fun in the park

the new JJ would be great 08/09 it's 115mm under foot and very light for their size, also with a rocker in the tip and tail and with the different dimensions you can take this ski anywhere this is the ski you are looking for

Thanks for the all the input, hope I got the Karma thing to work.

The EP Pro might be a little too wide though, but I think I got everythig else that I'm looking for.

Well I don't know about the rocker thing, I only rode the Hell Bends once, and it felt so fun, but I don't know if it i something I want my ski to have. Any comment on rocker or not rocker?

Have have been looking at a lot of Surface skis lately, only online so don't know how they feel.

Anyone got any experience with the Live Life or Live Life 2. stifness, flex etc.
