Soft boots. ANY GOOD????

I was wanting to get some opinions from everyone about the Rossi soft boots. I hear that they are pretty good for the park. What boots would you guys suggest for comfort and performance?

for big landings they prolly wouldnt be that could because they have so much flex. Like if you landed switch but really far over your tips, you'd prolly fall cause ur boots would pretty much bend so much that you'd lose your balance. On the plus side though, they're supposedly really comfortable.

ive hear they suck a lot but this kid i know got some and he hasnt complained. my 1080s are pretty sweet tho

I have the ones with the red to yellow fade on the 'soft parts' from like 2 years ago, I really like them but the buckles are complete crap.

next year rossi is coming out with a Candide ppro model boot that is pure freeride. it will be in competition with the 1080 boots.

yes mine are comfortable as fuck just ressurect the old boot threads i always post shit about mine and how awesome they are.

salomon verse boots. mine are black and yellow. getboards has some variation of them.

i have soft boots and i like them less every time i ski. i have now grown from thinking they are the greatest thing in the world to cursing there existance.

dont buy soft boots

great for recreational. i'd advise you suck it up, get something hinted more towards performance. you sissy..

My friend got them to help with shin bang, he likes them but he still gets shin bang.

i would buy them theyre great.... theyre very soft, wich i like.... a month ago i bought the soft 3, and i love them. very good too use, no more bad legs!!!!!!!!!

Lange 90's or 100's jib SFT they are by far the best boot ever invented. for all you fake nukkas sayin they aint good they are

I love how many people will write something about a product, without even trying it. Okay my last boots I used were Salomon 1080's, and I now ride Rossi Soft's..the Soft's perform every bit as good at the 1080's and are more comfortable...Rossi "Soft" boots are not even that soft at all...by the way..they have a very comfortable soft inner shell...the outer shell is pretty much the same as any other ski boot, and i actually find them to have less flex than my 1080's...give em a shot... I used to tear my toenails out and get sore feet and shinbang with any other boot I have tried...and the rossi's are fucking retarded amazing...no soreness, and all the performance.

i have a pair of soft light ones. they are really comfortable and great for park. the only down side is that they hold moisture and are tough to get dry. like i dont even hike in pow or anything (i live in MN) and they got wet and it took like 2days to dry them out. the other down side is that the liner doesnt come all the way out on my model for some reason this could be just my year boot but that really sucks.

Most of you are mildly retarded if you think that the flex of a Rossi Soft boot isn't on par with that of a 1080 boot.

Here's a thought for most of you mouth breathers. Get a boot that fits right with the performance level you want, not a 1080 boot becuase every other monkey skiers got em'

For fucks sake...

those boots suck so hard. ive tried them before. they have a wierd fit, and the flex is almost no resistance to a dead stop. dont buy them. the krypton rampage is a great boot. even though its mentioned every other minute on this site, theres a reason. they keep your feet in place, have a great flex patern (read progressive, not linear), fit great, and are customizable.

i rode them all last year, i never got shin bang, but I skied like shit. They are way to sloppy to turn well, spin well, or anything elses. but they do rock for hiking, because they feel like snowboard boots. But really, they suck for skiing well. And the plastic sucks and get's chewed up really easily, mine had no sole left by the end of the season.
