Who's got the best sock game? What kind of socks are you guys wearing while skiing. On most days I'm rocking thin dress socks but I have a couple darntough pairs that I break out when it gets real cold
 
I’m still using some socks I got from Aldi in 2010. I should probably get some new ones...

I had a pair and stopped using them because they are too thick, darn tough or smartwool are the only way to go if you're spending that much money on a pair of socks
 
My favorite pair are the icebreaker merino ski socks I have. Great warmth/weight, merino wool doesn't start to smell bad nearly as fast as other fabrics

One time in 7th grade football I wore the same socks to every practice (kinda like a sumo belt you can never wash it) then at the end of the season after a wet practice I put them over the nozzles of the hair dryers to dry and gassed out the whole locker room
 
Darn tough and icebreaker are the faves. I always wash them between uses because my feet sweat even when I'm sitting still and I've had problems with athlete's foot. I don't even wear socks in the summer unless I'm operating machinery or somewhere fancy.
 
i feel like this is a good thread for me to ask for some help with my athletes foot... help me before my pinky toe falls off. please.
