Social Life.

Please tell me I'm not the only one that loses their social life during ski season. Like I mean mine goes to complete shit. I get home from skiing and my legs are sore from stomping trick after trick. psych. My whole body aches from eating shit trying to get some air off the knuckles. But really, when I get home I have no desire to go out with anyone. I always end up getting home and getting on newschoolers and then going to bed at like 8. But in all reality, I'd take skiing over a couple of sluts and some douches any day.

My social life consists of me skiing with friends at the hill and then chillin on NS or gaming either by myself or with my bud.

Everyone I associate with is a skier or boarder. And I moved into a ski town and don't know any other group of people anyways, so there's that.

Why can't your social life go where ever you go? To tired to party with friend after the mountain? Meet friends at the mountain and bring the party.

Disclaimer: Having a good time while skiing is dangerous. This post in know way is encouraging you to have fun at the mountain. I recommend multiple safety meetings a day. to make sure you don't get hurt.

Yesterday I was skiing from 3 to 8. After that I went to a school party at 9, then to a club at 11. Got home at 4am and now I'm missing a ski day and enjoying my well-earned hangover.

I'll never party before a ski day again. Fuck social life.

if i ski for maybe 6 hours straight i never ache but if im skiing from open to close then i have no desire to even shower after i ski.. fuck social life

Idk. I think if people follow my lead and stay safe out there everything will fall into place. The last thing anyone wants is somebody to get hurt, ESPECIALLY your friends. Grab your closest friends and take a moment to have a safety meeting before ever stepping into the park. Throughout the day don't be afraid to have some refresher courses. In the parking lot, on the chairlift, wherever you are there is always enough time for safety!

I can hang with my friends after skiing even though I'm tired as fuck, but I hate giving up a day of going skiing for social life. I just explained to my non-skiing gf that she can only come visit me for 2 days not 3 because I want to go skiing as much as possible this season and that 1 day does make a difference.

If you are not from a ski town and you need to travel a lot is even worse. It definitely affeccts social life.During winter season I always have problems with my girl, i have even broken up with a girl cause of skiing :). And i always lose some touch with my non-skiing friends. Even more i always spend all my money on skiing so i have difficulties doin' anything else.

proper diet and hydration can aide in the recovery if you choose to power through and party... Then, chug water before bed and you'll be set in the AM

i get it. that was always our spring break. when we would go to jackson hole, my friends and i would do backcountry all day. when we got back, all we would want to do is chill and smoke grass. the guys from other schools would be more into partying after, but they weren't on the trip to do as serious of skiing

Unless you live on the east…then your social life goes by the weather, all the snow has melted in PA near me so i got toasted last night
