Qualifications start in the morning at 9:30 eastern. Finals at 12:30 eastern. Supposed to be good weather (bit warm though) so hoping to see the ladies throw down!

Switching between this, womens curling, and a video about Tribal war in South Africa for a midterm I have in an hour. I cant tell what one is the most exciting.

Alright well that French girl just laid it down pretty damn well, good amplitude, pretty sick tricks and everything was landed clean.
 
I'm watching at work. With the exception of a few of these ladies I'm finding work to be more entertaining unfortunately. It looked like that South Korean was going to do eight straight airs.
 
To be fair, there was some super bad guys in mens qualifiers too. Finals should be a lot better.

 
This is the part that has been the most disappointing for me regarding the Olympics. There are some bad skiers that qualified through their countries while there are far better ones sitting at home. This hasn't been a display of the best overall talent, which sucks.
 
Yeah for sure. Its interesting that we're not really seeing the best talent, but simpel the best talent each country has. Overall that makes a more exciting story for each country, but a less exciting contest in the end.

Some of these girls are pretty fucking badass though. That's a big stunt ditch and there's been some solid tricks going down.
 
I was under the impression that the entire hype revolving around Devin was that she was competing in both disciplines.
 
I know you're right. All girls in finals is probably gonna kill it pretty hard.

It's just sad to se girls throwing 5 180's in a run with no energy. So many better girls out there, but that's just how the olympics works i guess
 
so far between the goodies.. Also they have relly trouble keeping it smooth when the do tricks above 5's.

Also don't understand why they don't flip more. The first 4 tricks I learned in the pipe was flips, and that took me 2 days! A few solid airs tho, finals better step up!
 
Haha, yes Roz gave me a few when I saw her at the Dew Tour at Breckenridge last year. I was pretty stoked!
 
Will we see an USA sweep again!?! Actually I want Roz to be on that podium so I'd settle for a N American Podium!
 
Hard not to pick Brita, Maddie and Roz for the podium..but Marie, Anais could definitely shake up the rankings !
 
Ros seems to be a total wildcard. Both way nines but shes just tearing them around. Im stoked though finals shouldnt bee too bad!!!
