So as of six minutes ago my soccer season has started. It's my senior year, and fourth year on the varsity team. During the spring I was talking to my coach everyday, and one day he appointed me captain of the team. i have been waiting for this day for way too long, and now it is here. I am so excited that it is now here. It really was my dream to be captain of the carsity team one day, and now that it is here I don't know how to react. I know I'm going to get some hate for this, but to be honest i could not give a damn. This is so far the highlight of my life, and nothing can make me upset now.

I would like to say good luck to everyone in there highschool season this year. Going for 4-A NC state championship son
 
god i'm gonna miss highschool soccer since i graduated this year..... me and my friends used to go to practices soooo hung over from the night before or baked and just take shots on net all of practice .
 
that why we lost in the 3rd round of playoffs this year. Had a crazy good team but they scheduled the game the day after Halloween. Needless to say it wasnt pretty haha

haha fuck you man. in hs i dreamed of going to midd to play soccer and then i got fucking waitlisted. and then you guys had to go and win ncaas and shit. whatever. skidmore t-breds for life.
 
Word, I played in high school for 4 years. Kind of bittersweet do to some tragic stuff but no regrets.

Good luck and congrats on your captainship. Keep shit in line but don't be a dick.

Want some advice? Rep soccer gets you places, gets you scouted, i

havent played a second of highschool soccer, probably cause my school

sucks but mainly cause its a waste of time, it may be more competitive

but who cares, grow a pair and get out there. im 16 and ive been around the world for this sport, i play for Ontario and will hopefully get a scholarship, (which im not counting on) but the one thing i can say is that i didnt waste time kicking a ball around with the fat guy from gym and My math teacher

im not ripping on you bud, great job, but dont let your head explode

its a fun position to be in
 
To all the people saying that senior year of soccer is the best, they are completely, 100% correct. Enjoy it man, because it goes by fast. Congrats.
 
Good for you. I kinda stepped down in competitiveness over the years. I used to play like travel and competitive stuff, now I just do rec and play with friends. Not to say we don't play hard when the games get heated, but I"m loosing the thirst for competition. Probably because i want to ski more.

CLAIM though, but I would too.
 
awesome man. I'm headed back to school for a week of training before my first year of college ball and im nervy as balls. I got captain as a senior and the one thing I learned was be a captain when the team needs a captain and a friend and teamate when they don't. Just have fun and don't waste your last season!!!
 
not sure about that i play lacrosse and soccer and in both cases they are pretty tough sports once you get into the top levels of play.
And everyone is tired of you bros calling soccer player faggots. Tell that to the rest of the world you ignorant American fuck!

I miss soccer like crazy. Last year when i went to University was the first year I hadn't played since I was five :(

I'm also a senior and my first game is tomorrow. I'm pumped and nervous as this is my first year playing keeper in high school. I used to play stopper.

 
well today was the first captains practice, so the season does not officially start till the 24th. But the entire team and coach got together and all we did was running, and sprit drills. but just the fact that soccer has started makes me happy.
 
so pumped for soccer. going for player of the year this year for my section and i think i might make it, i'll be so pumped if so. conditioning and shit is over (which i hate) so now i'm loving soccer. first mandatory started today.
