i am tired of the people bashing soccer it isnt for fags okay lets get that straight. do people bash sports like baseball no.

soccer in the catoreoy of ruffness compared to other sports in my opinoin

soccer vs baseball more aggresive for god sakes the need saroids to get a n edged wats with that

soccer vs football about the same only because football players have pads and cups

soccer is more active then most sports like football and baseball and basketball

more skill involed in soccer

so lets stop the bashing and im sorry for the rant and for mainly useing football and baseball

lets just stick to the sport u love and not bash the sports others love
 
football is a lot rougher than soccer no contest, soccer is gay because of all the diving
 
i dont mind soccer except for the pathetic dives, and gullible refs. The fact that a 3-1 game is considered a big score, also takes away from the watching point of view.

SPORTS I WOULD RATHER WATCH

football, hockey, baseball, golf, tennis, PING PONG, basketball, biking, skiing, snowboarding, lacrosse.. the list goes on
 
haha take it easy, thrasher! I actually do play soccer, but not for the anal sex. Thats just an extra bonus. Seriously though, learn to take a little joke once in a while. If I got upset every time someone told me "wearing a pink thong is gay" I would always be pissed!
 
i, being a football player, mainly bash one kid for playing soccer. the kid is my friend, and everyone gives him shit for it, and i will continue to bash soccer and you cant stop me

the only soccer i will watch is the world cup, maybe some high school girls games if im really bored, but i will not watch american soccer, european soccer is prolly alot better, but i wouldnt know
 
i have played football and still do play soccer and soccer isnt a pussy sport. i think that you can only make fun of another sprot after you have played it and actually tried at it

and this goes out to any one of you that dislike/hate on soccer. i just want to hear one valid point as to why you dont like it. its just retarded to jump on the bandwagon and call it gay b/c almost every single american does that.

all i ask is that you watch one true soccer game, not mls, but something like the english premiership, serie a, bundesliga, or UEFA Champions League. or if youre feeling really ambitious watch the third place game and the final of the world cup this weekend.

it might not be the most exciting game in the world but you have to show some respect for all the crazy shit these guys are doing in a period of 90 constant minutes.

there is no question that there is no other sport that requires as much hand eye coordintion and skill as baseball. peroid.
 
it requires alot, but what about sports like golf and tennis. im not hatin on baseball, one slip up and your teeth could be gone, thats what happened to me, it went off my glove and BAM, no more front teeth for dylan for the rest of his life
 
I really don't see how some of you can say that soccer is gay. It's the most widely played sport in the WORLD. I know that if any of you that are bashing soccer actually played soccer at all, you would think differently.
 
soccer is an incredibly physically-demanding sport. i'm with you, those players don't get the credit they deserve. they are constantly in movement and some of the footwork they do is so sweet.
 
you guys are FUCKING RETARDED who say that you don't like soccer because of the diving. first of all it is such a small part of the game and second of all, recievers get PI calls all the time when the shouldn't
 
ok, i'll give you the hand eye coordination for sure, but skill?...nope. you're honestly going to tell me that an out of shape baseball player that just sits in the field and has to catch and throw a ball to someone is more skilled that an in shape soccer player that has to run for 45 minutes straight at a time, and be able to control, accuratly pass, and shoot an inflated ball with his feet...ya, definitely not
 
i think out of all the sports baseball is prob the gayest haha, just cause its so boring. like "here comes the pitch" ...... "ball" "stike" "ball" "oo its a hit, wait nevermind foul" "2 and 2 now" not enough action.
 
Anyone who hates on soccer has clearly never played it, it's way fucking demanding physically, and the most popular sport on the planet...we americans are just such arrogant assholes we have to invent a new, and far inferior sport and give it the name of a sport that already exists. Bottom line: Soccer rocks balls and anyone who says otherwise is retarded.
 
Who was it that said "only americans would call a sport where you use your hands 95% of the time 'football'" it makes me laugh everytime. And whoever said "I only watch the World Cup," fuck you. I hate people like you. People that become soccer nuts for 1 month every 4 years, and you probably act all "oh so-and-so is hurt, that hurts their chances" fuck you.
 
Who cares if somebody doesn't like the sport you play?? What are you trying to prove? If they don't like the sport, then they don't like the sport. Give it up.

i have mad respect for soccer players the things they do wiht there feet and a ball boggles my mind and how long and how much they run for p.s. you dont wear a cup in football
 
i guess i like to watch it sometimes but some of the kids i know who i used to play with or against were suchbitches. the kind that i hated spending time with on the team and thtas a lot of the reason wy i quit.
 
no i sure they would play baseball if they wanted or ruggby because the only requier one ball and a stick for baseball
 
me and most of friends have played soccer all of our lifes its a great sport. But i do have friends that play other stuff baseball, football, golf, basketball, etc.. just respect each sport for what it is there all good athletes. each one just takes a different kind of skill thats all.
 
i dont see the need for an argument at all. soccer is a sport that people play just like baseball football hockey lacrosse etc. if you play any of these sports you play them because you enjoy them. the people that play other sports play those because they enjoy them. so why is there any need for any "bashing" at all. do what you enjoy, fuck what other people think. and dont be such a bitch when people say things. who cares.
 
Why is it that most people that don't like soccer call it gay. Its cool if you don't like something but don't just call it gay. At least respect what the athletes can do. I don't like lacrosse but I don't go around calling it gay.

Also everyone who critisizes soccer says that all soccer plays take dives like pussies. First of all that is not true. Some take dives but not all. And when a player get hit and stays on the ground hes not always faking it. Second players in ALL sports play to the refs. My roommate who plays lacrosse tells me he has always taken dives to get calls. Football players do it too. Receivers will flop to get a pass interference call. Or defencive linemen will flop to get a holding call. And one sport that is just as bad as soccer with "diving" is basketball. Go watch Manu Ginobili for 5 minutes or Dwayne Wade in the finals. They do this in all sports.

And whoever said that if other countries had enough money they would play other sports is completely wrong. They have plenty of money in Europe but that is where soccer is the biggest. Soccer is a great game and you don't have to like it but respect what the players can do and don't just call it gay because that is just immature and ignorant.
 
I really dont know why you americans keep on bashing football (i refuse to call it soccer, take that in mind in this post as it could get a bit confusing), but as you are, im gonna bash american football for a bit. Seriously how can you watch a game that has commercials every 5 minutes?! It drives me nuts! Also with the roughness, and how it so much more rough than football is, compare american football to rugby, take away all the pads, only pass backwards and you have rugby. All the protection rugby players wear is a mouthguard and a bit of duct tape to tape their ears to their head so they dont rip off.

I respect American football as a sport dont get me wrong, but there is things about every sport that you can bash on. Football is the most loved in the world, and because you only need a ball (even a tin can) and some markers it makes it much more beautiful.
 
i hate people who think they know everything bout soccer bc they watch the world cup. One game was played on our projector at lunch time and everyone watched it and started saying all this shit about how they are gunna play and how there really good and know everything. They would scream out foul and would piss me n my friends off, bc we've played for many years. One kid got punched in the face for not shutting up. So annoying, now everyone is like yah soccer rules but i would never play it. Now their starting to say it sucks and they all think its over.... fuckin posers
 
the simplicity makes soccer a great sport.

Wowwww one action that makes baseball more skilled? First of all, everybody is naturally more coordinated wiht their hands. I hate how baseball players are always like "ohh but we pitch fast so it makes it more skilled" Shut the fuck up. Try being COMPLETELY exhausted, and trying to place a ball with your feet into probably a 2 square foot region where the goalie isn't going to get the ball from 12-30 yards away. Knowing where you are going to pass before you even get the ball, faking world class players all on the verge of exhaustion. Okkk. How can players in the professional league be FAT? That is a disgrace to the sport.
 
i dont think soccer is gay, but i do think that you are wrong in saying that football isnt as rough. Having played both sports i can deffinatly say that i got hurt more in football than soccer. Tho it wasnt by much
 
did i ever say that baseball requires more skill?....no. hell im not even a baseball player, but it does require alot of skill. you have to have the right swing and throwing mechanics. you have to be able to react quickly if you playing the infield, and you have to have aton of arm strength and endurance if your a pitcher. throwing 80-110 pitches 75 mph+ is something that is quite hard to do. i respect soccer but to say that baseball requires no skill is just dumb
 
fair enough, i thought you were trying to say baseball requires more skill, because people on this board have said that and htat is always their one argument. Roberto Carlos has had his shots clocked at over 80 miles per hour by the way.
 
the diving is done by soccer PLAYERS NOT THE SPORT ITSELF YOU FUCKING IDIOT. the sport itself when played properly and maturely is a great sport and if you think its gay cause of a few pictures of their dicks hanging out or them grabbing eachothers nuts, well your a fucking idiot. look at football. when they hut the ball the guy has his fucking hands RIGHT ON THE GUYS ASS and your gona tell me thats not gay? fuck you man.
 
Hmm id have to disagree a bit there, for football (soccer) there is a lot more potential for greater skill level as there is so much you can do with a ball. There are passing skills, crossing skills, shooting skills, defending skills, tackling skills, heading skills, dribbling skills, strategy skills, getting into space skills, fitness skills, bowstaff skills, i havent even started on all the little tricks you can do with a ball. Football has such a wider skill area than baseball. You hit the ball, run and someone tries to catch it and then try to get you out. You dont see someone trying to hit it through their legs and into a small net, because its just doesnt help the game. Im not saying i could be a pro, its just not on the same level with football (soccer), as it is different, but thats not to say players have the same level of skill as in football (soccer).
