Soccer(futbol) vs football

SOCCER!!!! RONALDINHO FC BARCELONA and BRASIL... crazy shit he does. soo much cooler and require more skill than american football. did you know the world cup is the number one most watched event on TV?? worldwide
 
well u obviously have never stepped foot on a football field, or even played a pickup game. there is an increbible amount of skill and logic in the game. i'm not knocking soccer, but dude, know ur shit.
 
also football is a dorks dream come true, people who love to run there mouth forever about what they could do better if they were the coach.

Football is americas way of saying that there better than the rest of the world, and that is so stupid.

The superbowl is basically just the US jacking off its ego

also i heard most nfl players did not like football when they were growing up
 
Neither sport is "better" its all opinionated. each may be more interesting and require more skill in certain areas but neither is better.
 
i play football and i love it. whithout it waithing for ski season would be just that much longer. i never played organized soccer but its mad fun in school and just messing around... EVERYONE WINS!!
 
With soccer, you can have fun no matter how many people you have. Passing it around, juggling in a circle, it's all good. I don't think you can really do that with football.
 
if your big and strong you cant be bad at football.......tell this kid to shut the fuck up and get his head outta his ass........i play soccer, and i play football, practise is at different times so i can play both......they both kick my ass, but all in all football is much harder to me.....soccer u can screw up and its not the end of the world.....football one person screws up and u have a touchdown or a sack.......i play midlle linebacker and reading plays is nto for a moron.....all in all football is harder to me, but is tillh old a shitload of respect for soccer as well.......both are great sports
 
SOCCER GAY, IT'S FULL OF A BUCNH OF FEILD FARIES THAT TAKES NO SKILL AT ALL. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS KICK A DAMN BALL IN A NET AND I HATE ALL THESE DAMN MEXICANS THAT THINK THERE ALL COOL CUZ THEY PLAY SOCCER.

Football on the other hand takes some skill, because you have to run with the ball, kick the ball, catch the ball, throw the ball, and tacke people.
 
i think we can agree that the real tough men play rugby...tackling with no pads, and diving over someones legs then whining about it doesnt get you anywhere

on that note it is clear tht both sports take an immense amount of strategy and skill at the higher levels of competition and it is usless to argue otherwise

beyond that its just preference
 
yeah i play football ... but i still just like messing around with a soccer ball... but most people think football is just about being strong and fast... there is so much mental stuff in football also
 
they are both sports that require a lot of skill and im assumming all the people who say to be good at football you just have to be big and strong have never played. All I know is that at my school and most highschools the fastest and strongest athletes play football
 
Professional soccer players are some of the most athletic people on this planet. THere soo in shape that its ridicoulous. The rest of the world woships soccer and formula 1. But us being America we like big brutish sports like football and NASCAR and not finesse.
