i outgrew my cleats and im starting center mid for my varsity team in the fall and i'm looking for either the vapors or adizero's. I've heard good things about both but if someone has had experience with the cleats it would be appreciated if you could tell me the pros and cons.
/static/images/flash_video_placeholder.pngyah dude not a sport....and second why would you even comment in this thread....if you don't like soccer just don't comment....jesus christ
back in high school i got the original vapors (a year or two after they were out so they were cheaper), but they were the most amazing soccer shoe i ever wore. i imagine they have only improved since then
i think the Nike ones are a lot more expensive no? i think adizeros are 200 and any of the good nike ones are 300 or 400 right? the nike's might be better cause they're 200 dollars more. i have adidas ones and i like them. not adizeros though, f30's. wasn't ready to drop 200 on cleats. i might when i destroy these.
It's true, soccer was invented by European women to give them something to do while their husbands were in the kitchen. Just like hacky sack was invented by dirty hippies to make them feel like they were at least good for something.
I would say neither. Get yourself a sturdy shoe that will last a will and is comfy. From my experience with those two cleats neither of them fit very well with my feet and were not comfortable AT all.
I haven't followed cleats in a while, but I think the adizeros are natural (kangaroo?) leather, and vapors synthetic. When I played, I abhorred synthetic materials, so I would say adizeros off that alone, but it depends on your preference.
Ive owned both and im currently playing with the adizero's and love them
last year i had vapors, in the end i loved them but for your first month wearing them, you have to break the material in and you get major blisters, then after that theyre great
but the adizero's are just as good of a shoe if not better, and you dont have the phase of pain
Both cleats are amazing but if I were to pick I would say Nike. Nike makes good solids cleats I have had my Nike 90s for two years no damage whatsoever just finished a game with them to.
not hating, but i just found them uncomfortable until i broke them inthat was my only dislike with them both are great shoes though and you can't go wrong with either
i would go with the adizeros. I was allowed to try the mercurials for one practice and they just fealt cheap. Just to put this out there i believe the puma v1.10 are the best deal for the money, you can get the puma v1.10 sl for $130.
ive had both and go with adizeros man im on my second pair and they are amazing. adizeros literally feel like feathers on your foot and are much more comfortable and better looking that vapors as well as cheaper
adizeros are lightest. dont have a pair but couple of my friends have last years and they litteraly feel like nothing in your hand. but id say its more of a striker shoe. either way its fuckin sweet and you should get it
I would go with the vapors, i have had better luck with nike. Any adidas i have seem to rip and the adizeros are thin as fuck! Good chance of them ripping.
any place to try them on? I feel like they don't rip easily seeing as how the outside is. if they're like mine, there are no lines on the outside, everything is smooth. doesn't seem like mine will rip. and they haven't for like 2 or 3 years of play now.
Vapors are so much nicer. I started last fall with the adizeros and ended up breaking them. Then i got another pair since eurosport sent me another for free and I broke them within a week. So i got vapor superflys and I have never owned a better pair of cleats in my life. Ive always loved adidas since I wore predators for the past 6 years of my life but after breaking two pairs of adizeros I think ill stick with the vaporshttp://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/orfnw-springhill-suites-norfolk-virginia-beach/
