Whos heard of them?

For those of you who haven't it was a shoe with a plastic grind plate for skaters and inliners developed in the late nineties. Wish they were still around. One pro soaper is still around soaping in vegas: Ryan Jaunzemis.

I know theres a lot of fucking old ass geezers on this site so I hope for some people who can tell me more about them.

More than what you've said? Uhhhh....I owned a pair?

they slid like shit on curbs

it was recommended by the manufacturer that you wear a helmet while wearing them. But they were shoes. Ergo, said wearer of shoes should consider wearing a helmet while outside.

They probably arent hard to make. Take some old Janoskis or any skate shoe with laces and cut a hunk of the sole out under the arch of your feet. Find piece of plastic with the edges rounded off and epoxy it in there.

This guy is too fucking much. Hilarious. He has an autobiography 'audiobook' on there that is read by a computer. Priceless.

He talks like this stuff is still blowing up. Guy, it was 15 years ago.

I'm waiting for the soap/ heeley to come out

Also Salomon made a pair that had both soul and frontside grinding groves.

Not living by Ryan Jaunzemis' standards of life

This guy covers all bases of being an absolute joke to the extent that its of the quality that you'd expect it was written by the writers if south park. He's like Jon MacMurry except worse.

That did come out. I had them and I could do handrails then heeley out the landing...

I know, you're all jealous. I was cool in grade six.
