Soap alternatives for summer set ups

my friends and i started out using dish washing detergent powder which slides really well but its a pretty nasty chemical and isnt good for yourself of the grass, today we got out shampoo and its soooo slippery and i hardly used any, oh and we're using astro turf too. What are some other alternatives you guys have tried? success or failure?

i have tried whip cream (we wer board but it didn't really work that well.) i finelly just bought some of that plasticy turf that they use at golf ranges. it works awsome with water and you don't have to water it down as much becasue it doesn't absorb the water.

i just use liquid soap and it slides real nice. i just mix it in with water in a couple gallon barrel and its perfect

yeah ive heard good things about snow gel, but you guys should try some shampoo, snowgel might not even be necessary

^with water, a little shampoo then spray it with the hose and get the suds goin

people who complain about lprices, jsut go to dollar store and buy shampoo thats what i did and iah ve no complaints so far, but what is that powder stuff and does it work well?

yo man, the biodegratebable shit is the best. don't soak it in. just do a little mist with da hose and it will be the best. you don't even need to water it down with 20 runs in.
