I never listened to SOAD before, I didn't like it and I laughed at my friends who listened to it, but that's because I didn't listen enough of SOAD, when I listened to this album, man I tought it was very good and still think that! And lets say I dont listen very much to that kind of music, I listen mostly to indie and rap!

My favorite songs are : Revenga, Violent pornography, sad statues, lost in hollywood

^ it would help, if youre gonna talk shit about SOAD, you should know about all the protests they go to and play for free, they also support alot of charities (sp?) and have even been in direct relation with what was RAGE....open up the RAGE cd, you will find lots of info on how to help people in need, and how to make a statement.

SOAD and RAGE have both made a huge difference in people's lives. they bring up things that youve never even thought about. all of them are true and are worth fighting for.

Bizarre is what makes it so unique. Mike2.0 is WAAAY off with his bullshit. You think I/their many fans listen to them because of their agenda, idiot? The music they play is great and differs from the sound I generally hate.

Anyway, most of their lyrics are statements in the form of pure gibberish, they're like Nostradamus' " predictions": you can hear what you want.

But songs with core lyrics like "Chop Suey" mixed with amazing sound just leaves me in a long-lasting stae of euphoria.

no they dont. they never did. i heard them say there subjects are about people and society in general more than one time but they never claimed to be political.

and some of the lyrics may sound stupid and simnple or just confusing to you but unlike a lot of other bands theres something behind soads lyrics. think about it

^Yeah a lot of their lyrics sound completely retarded, especially combined with the lead singer's incredibly annoying voice, but they do have a few catchy tunes. Still, music for me is all about the lyrics. So I mainly listen to 90's rock because its just better.
