So you hated our Movie...what went wrong?

Almost annoying how hard you guys are on yourself. You didn't fuck it all up, it might not have been as banger as it was in your mind, but is it ever really? Stop telling yourselves it sucked ass and start acknowledging the things to make it better and the effort you all put into this movie.

Right well, the children of Nepal really are sensitive when it comes to these sort of things . Next season we will be giving most of the production responsibilities to Marvin's Martians.

I really enjoyed Tobais' segment, the skiing was enjoyable and the editing matched the playful skiing pretty well. Why not more tran clan? This video could use more tran clan fo sho. Other than the previously stated shaky filming I dont think a whole lot needs to change to make a real good product.

before i bash too much props for making a movie, takes alot of time and effort and im sure this video is going to be a funny memory in a few seasons when you have it dialed

but,

the music and audio both had no flow or connection ever really for 16min!

the intro was pointless and soo damn long considering it really wasn't about anything!

changing the lighting/exposure and iso while recording, yuck

the filming wasn't great but that will come, try to use more tripod and pans, or at least more stationary shots to avoid the shakiness and gain more stabilization

the skiing itself had good moments, but 16 minutes of essentially the same style and same tricks wasn't all to interesting by the end

this video was like an inside joke nobody else is in on and watching you guys joke around and talk about Nepal was boring and pointless, though im sure it was a good laugh for you guys

Redo this movie, make it half as long, less shots of being goofs, less shots in general, best shots as awhole movie not just as individuals to, less audio and more music to mellow out the sound and i think i wouldn't mind watching the whole thing!

oh ya and tight pants and 2chainz? goodluck boys

Everything was fine except for that Vinny kid's teeth. He really needs to get those fixed, and that would sort everything out.

Heres my view: The first segment was meh. I really liked some of the ones later on, but the first one needs some sticking to. I think also the shooting style is quite good, but the shakiness of the shots and just the blurry quick shots are confusing, and stuff happens too fast to be acknowledged. If you took a step back from the subject, and bought a glidecam this would have actually been pretty damn good.

Keep at it guys! +K for making a great effort, I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys put out in the future!

Thats kind of what I saw, rather than looking at a raw clip and going, 'aw dammit, that would've been a good shot if I didn't have a seizure right in the middle of it..' you threw it in the movie anyway. I didn't hate it, but I think you need to be more selective about what makes the final cut.

I am going to be brutal here, but let me tell you why I don't feel like watching any more of this video after less than three minutes.

-why did I watch you play with camera settings while some dude bought a lighter? What was interesting about a basic shot of a guy lighting a joint in his car?

-the attempted artsy shot of that metal thing was a shaky mess, not artistic in any way, and pointless honestly

-From there it's just a guy messing around on the hill and doing nothing at all impressive. Meanwhile, a lot of the shots are terribly framed and cut off much of the skier, are shakey, and do some weird tilting that is vertigo-inducing. And why did some random ice cream thing pop up for no reason at 2:08?

That sounded like some asshole film-dick's analysis, but I figured I'd give you my toughest thoughts. Please take everyone's criticisms into account and keep trying, because your image quality, editing skill, etc. looks great! Just need some practice with the execution

I actually didnt think it was that bad, reminded me of my old gopro edits in highschool fuckin around with my homies on the mountains. the pow segments were tight. bridger bowl looks sick.

just get a glidcam and watch your edit over and over before rendering it so you can realize when your transitions suck.
