open out west, open far east, everywhere around me is getting pounded, and i live in the only spot in the world where there isnt a big area < 3 hours away.(implying that places the size of gore are "big") and its been pouring for three days.
 
im not, I decided to go skiing before the mountain was open, there wasn't much snow, then I smashed my knee on a rock and fractured my knee cap, im stupid it succks. But it's been pouring rain out here in the east and now it's starting to freeze up, so i guess im not missing much
 
I went skiing today, there is hardly any snow left because of all the rain we got here at Waterville in the past few days, hopefully they'll make a good recovery real quick!
 
mount snow has been open for a week now and I won't see any of it for another 3. Fuck my life
 
It's coming guys if not go to the arena and get some snow and enjoy.

nope. its barely hitting thirties in northern jersey. my hill's site says they open in 9 days so we'll see...
 
This weekend coming up will be the beginning of the ski season for a lot of people. Especially the midwest. The midwest finally had temps drop to below 30 in the daytime, which is allowing snow to stick to the ground.

East Coast got some blasts of snow about a week or two before us, and out West has been getting hammered.
I will definitely try and make it to the ski area this Sunday. Its my goal.
 
the temps in jersey have only just gotten down for snowmaking. creek is supposed to open on the 11th. hopefully...
 
My mountain opens tommorow. I won't be going. First year I have missed sunshines opening day since fortress closed. Now I wont even make Mt.Washington.
 
I'm not skiing yet. Hokkaido has had shit all snow this year so far. I'm pissed.

I'm going up to my ski area tomorrow to pick up my season pass, and I'm gonna have my skis on the roof rack just in case of a miracle. I don't really expect to ski though because its 12 degrees C and raining at the mo, and its forecast to stay like that overnight. It's bullshit. It's fucking Japan, I want pow.
 
Where in Ohio man? I live in Columbus, and I'm hoping maybe this weekend Mad River will have enough snow that they'll open up. I dunno though
