sure, but when it comes to dropping a team member that's a pretty huge deal and i'm sure Salomon has the experience to realize that's something you need to do. Especially an athlete like Dumont who has been one of the most prolific pipe skiers of this generation. That's a pretty big deal.

And for all the speculation about 2014 pipe: Our current crop of athletes may have been replaced by then. Skiing progresses at an insane rate these days; and now the kids have the motivation of the Olympics in front of them.
 
1. Salomon would never drop Simon, that one is pretty clear.

2. Simon did post on his Facebook page this spring that we should be prepared to se BIG things from Empire in the near future.

simon buys old moulds and press off a ski company and tries to launch empire skis.

dynastar (they make a killer pipe ski and have an x games pipe rider (duncan adams)

hell even atomic or rossi (both have big pipe teams

Scott just because with Simon and Tom skiing for the same company they would be the peak of all the skiing brands and might help make a company like scott not generally though of in relation to skis more of a name brand.
