So who hear ACTUALLY supports Nike in the skiing industry??

I'm down with Nike and such. they can do what they want but they are with the best compainies like Rossignol and such. I don;t feel that "core"-ness really matters, as long as they make good products.

so you are saying that they will provide no competition what so ever for the soft good companies, and possibly push them to going out of business? yes, im sure that has already happened, you just dont know about it in the other sports, thats the simple fact of competition

i never try to buy anything nike anywas because of there child labour and low wages stuff (ya i know lots of other companys do the same but nikes one of the biggest and should set a new standard) so i definatly wouldnt buy there stuff if they switched
 
bingo. the market will determine who has better products- and those will survive. so far all your "core" companies have done very well.
