So whens the last time you purchased bindings?

for me: 8 years... I see no reason to upgrade.. I got a DIN of 14 on my Marker Bindings. I dont see any revolutionary changes in bindings other than fancy pretty graphics... woo f'n hoo!

They are functional and safe. Old.. and they work.. and I rarely see DIN of 14 on anything.

Go for it... tell me I am wrong and why?

I dont need a "I hate marker bindings" debate.

"and they work"

dude, YOU HAVE MARKER BINDINGS!!!

nah, if they work for you, that's sick

last time I bought bindings was when I bought new skis, which was about 7 months ago. I like to keep my old skis around and mounted, so every time I get new skis, I get new bindings

my p10s are on thier fourth or 5th pair of skis but i like my p10s and they really havent changed much and i have a bunch of other bindings that go on to the old skis

about 8 months ago, but that was because I was fed up with consumer bindings and bought FKS's, I think I'll snag another pair for some pow skis and then hopefully I'll never have to buy bindings again.

Like 3 years ago and the only reason ill ever buy new binders is if i buy some fks or something.

me too. hasnt been for 3 years since i upgraded though. but i took my old bindings and put them on new urb skis i bought off here (longer appropriate length) an d bough the scratch bindings for my ghettos

I've been on mine for about 4-5 long seasons and I'm with you, but I did change my toe piece last week cause mine was missing pieces and my boot could move inside of the binding, and I just jacked the toe piece off an old pair of skis I had lying around

As long as all the pieces are there, they work, and have the Pivot on the heal piece, I see no reason to change them until it breaks. I find it a waste of money to get new bindings when your old ones work perfectly fine

Last summer, some p12's. 12's serve me perfectly, but if I break em, probably Deadbolts, unless something more solid appears that wont fuck over your ACL.

Two years ago. I have two pairs of Rossi Axial 140s (turntable heel) that I rotate though my rock and park skis, and some Salomon 914 FIS that I use on my pow and everyday skis.

I've gotten two sets of FKS's this season, the most recent of which was about a month ago. I shouldn't be needing anything anytime soon unless the bindings on my AT or rock skis blow up.

i used to do that, but eventually you get to the point where you have extra bindings laying around from retired/broken skis . Like i have 2 sets of Axails laying around waiting for skis, but now that i think of it, i have some new skis to mount on to.

the last bindings I bought were six years and three pairs of skis ago Look P10s and the've always held up, but now they're getting old and I'm skiing way harder and they're about to fall apart

i have some look p18s that i got with my trouble makers 5 years ago and have had them mounted on about 4 different pairs of park skis. i see no need to upgrade until they brake. i am getting marker dukes soon for touring though.

Pair of 816's last week :)

Waiting to mount them, till I get a pair of decent skis. Don't want to put thme on my Fujas, since they're already remounted once

for me: 8 years...
thats a long life for bindings

i got sth16's month ago. very good and light this far...

I rocked my solly 912's for 4-5 years and finally retired them this year because one toe piece was having problems. Picked up a pair of deadbolts 412's and love them and hope they last as well.

Every time I get new skis! Bindings are under tension and will break eventually.

My Motherships have Solomons that have DIN of 12

My Karmas have Rossignol with DIN of 14!

I've had a pair of marker and a pair of geze bindings that each blew up at around the 6 to 8 year mark. Literally, springs and pins all over the run, that's why I carry a second pair as backup.

well,, pretty much most bindings go to like 12+ so 14 isnt very special... but u sounded all excited about it

Thanks smart guy, we are all very enlightened by your insight on the matter. I was highlighting it because the author of the freakin thread was asking about bindings that went to 14 FFS! It's called being helpful, fuckstick!

Do you little pencil necks have anything worthwhile to contribute to this site or do you just like sounding retarded? Sick of all you little shitheads!

your the one who sounds like a retard you cunt pump

but i bought some jesters around thanksgiving which go up to 16!

then i have 2 sets of fks155s, one from mid last season and one from the seasom before

i had markers last season, broke them, i had salomons for part of last season, wrecked my knee in them cause they didnt release properly, i have look p12 pivots now, best bindings yet
