So what's next? (dagmar thread...sorry)

We're dozing the halfpipe, we realized it can Never be good, in part due to our dragon that is as old or older than most of you guys on this site, and also because its design is flawed ie, being to narrow, shallow, and flat....So we so happen to own a case 1550 dozer, and a backhoe(I realize we're going to open SOON, so its being done as fast as possible to create a booter line in the "pipe" and also a few other land sculpting things as well

amen, im hoot hooting as well, im keeping my figures crossed and knocking on wood, wanting the same opening date dec 3 or 4(cant remember but last year) sunny day, and the park owned then so can't wait!!
 
shitty i cant ride till december 16th, but im still hoping it opens far before that so you guys can rip it up.

its been pretty cold for the past 5 or so nights at least -5 or below and that in T.O. But today it rained a bit which sucks, a few degrees less and it would been snow. HOPE FOR SNOW 07' CAMPAIGN!!!!
 
Wo0o0o0o SNOWWW!!!!.. how does it look at dagmar??.. hopfully the temp drops and stays below zero so they can spray some snow

yah there always so prepared with the park, it was like the first thing they had set up, weeks before any other place
 
this year features will be better set up, even more so then last year - on tables. Stuff will take longer to set up, because we need a table first to do so. but you know what that means, nicer, flowier landings. dust your skis off guys, shits about to hit the fan friday night.

So instead of paying attention in math class im staring out the window at Dagmar and Lakeridge and just watching the snowmaking going on yea you can actually see it from my math class.

But anyhow set up sounds like its going to be super fun cant wait. Any better idea if it will be open friday night?
 
Yea me and Jon went today, fuckin' awesome for opening day. There was, down rail, trap box, tiny flat box, double tiny flat boxes, 30 ft box, the DFD, the whale and a small jump set up. The whale is way better this year, respect. Everything was in good condition, the metal for the rails is fuckin smooth. The DFD is tight. The jump was hurting, but that's kinda expected first day. For the future, steeper landing and waaay more kick. All in all, it was dope.
 
Haha nah, we sure as hell didn't bring a camera, and didn't even think to bring a camera guy to film. And everything is set-up roughly the same as opening day last year, small boxes on skiers left, DFD in the middle, whale at the end, couple jibs up top. The only big difference was that the jump was on the skiers right of the chair, where the half-pipe used to be.
 
the set up today was the same as yesterday

first the down rail, then the battle ship box, then a rainbow box (not hitalbe/open), then you could either hit the dfd rail, or hit two flat boxes placed one after the other, then there was a 30foot flat box, and then you could hit the whale box, which is way better than last year.

it was a nice first day back on the hills.
 
Soo not a bad opening... lots more snow than last year, so thats nice. but still not enough! So I will be removing the flat boxes, battleship, and hand rail during the week (when we're not open) to set everything up on proper tables, so we can have landings....(and ones that wont bomb out) and def. blow lots and lots more snow on the old pipe side, to get snow for the Jump line that will go there.... that landing really can't be any steeper right now, because that is the grade of the ground, 90% of that jump is dirt.... so it should be pretty cool.

I hope to have a Filthy amount of features open for next friday, including the 30ft rectangular tube hand rail (NEW) ol' whale broke, but Rich and I fixed it this morning at 7AM...

Good to see a bunch of skiers out , come on back sometime, it'll only be better.

my computers fucked, it enters in my posts while im still typing them. so

what are you gonna do about the first jump, you could get just enough speed for it you tucked the whole way, is it gonna stay the same size all season?
 
my parents were undecided about wheather to go to dag today..... they just woke me up and said LET GO and i looked out my window and i was like holy CRAP....THANK the snow gods!!!!
