alright, so what next for the mar, I want your input... I know some things have to change ie. rail setups (flat landings), take off width being to narrow, mini park lacking, the hiring of twats (not rich or steve), fresh beats, what do you think , booter line and rail line, or combo? keeping in mind the difficulty of having good flow on such a short slope. Whatever you have to say bring it, just don't be a dick.

yeahhh matt good to see this thread. I think what you need is some solid employment december 16th - january 7th. That is key, and i know just the guy!

Whats happening with the pipe? its really a waste of space you could have a nice rail yard set up in that space if it was flattened.. As for jumps, i liked the new set up you had going last year.. i was feeling the 3 pack. It was really hard to get speed for all three, if you hit the 2nd it was impossible to hit the 3rd, i propose a big table (same spot as #1) with two take offs, and then one more at the bottom (two hits again)... the middle one was alright, and i guess you kinda need it to answer the demand of the general public at dags.

Do you have a budget for new jibs?
 
i think we have a great variety of jibs... but i think something like this stall would be pretty sweet. (think of how successful that little blue barrel stall set up in the mini park was)... sorry for my shitty seashore skills:

they have one at treb. just like it and if its well maintained its really fun, and thats the goal right?
 
i havent skiied at dagmar in years, so i dont know what you guys have to work with. i plan on hitting it up frequently this season

all i can say is priority 1 should always be getting the landings dialed, I hate when little resorts try and make a good park by having a bunch of crazy jibs and wedge jumps with landings that haven't been built up at all or are just too flat in general.
 
Bring back the flat box. Definetly add some more features to the mini park, I feel like a lot more could be used out of that space, especially a lot of fun little features to screw around on. The barrel jib last year was pretty money, same with all the rails
 
i think we need a really nice and smooth...wide (like 2 feet) flat box approx. 20-30 feet in length. something that can be set up so we can just pop and spin as much on/off/during the jibulation as possible.

what jake said with the long barrel on top is money...i think it should be set up facing uphil at the bottom of the park so as like somethin fun to do with that little bit of extra speed.
 
Heres what Ive had in mind... Though the Pipe would have to be levelled.(dont think many would mind that). I think a triple jump/rail line would be pretty cool. It would give you the option to hit a rail or jump each time, making a different line everytime. Also it should have some good flow. Jumps might have to be slightly smaller to carry enough speed through top to bottom. Then you could Have a big jump line on one side and a smaller on the other. Also each rail/box would have a nice steep landing along with the jump... You could have that barrel idea on the bottom off to the side of the hill which would be cool too. All those rail/ boxes are from last year though a new Cbox would be cool as theyre always fun...

What you guys think of this?

Last year was definately a step in the right direction... cant wait fot the season to start...

YEa man on one ski...Naw man I snowboard. I remember somehow finding this site last year when the pics of the new rails were up on here, so i decided to check out if anything was up about this year, and ended up joining just to post my idea/thoughts for this year...hope thats aright with you guys
 
Yea havent seen the hill since last winter so dont remember how much room there is.. not much really.

Thought the big to smaller jump from top to bottom might make things flow better together with like a perfect landing..

Ah well whatever Im sure something will be done

As for new Rails thats got me stoked... cant imagine whats gonna come next. Honestly what more can there be
 
i was sure i did a good jobb mattt but i guess not...and dont call me a twat...but ideas from last year like 3 or 2 rails on tables like louis always has it and jumps well i know u and figure that out
 
Bingo. I couldn't agree more. I love nice long boxes, so much fun to mess arround on and get a feel for doing new sheit on.
 
a box jump ahahaha.... well it would be fun!

but i think a nice 4 foot wide flat box would be awesome....
 
flat-down box...or some sort of kinked box....yep....saw some of the plans matt had...and its looking pretty damn good....
 
there used to be a flat down box.. what ever happened to it.. i remeber it bein at the top and it was so fucked up because it got stuck in ice and no one could fix it lol

no not building a pipe, boy steve youre like speedy gonzales on this thing. deconstruction and dirt scpaing begins soon..... as well as 4 new slide-able features....or who knows maybe its all talk, talk, talk....Im not there 5 days a week or anything
